The second filming to which you are referring is actually for a holiday special on Disney Channel in Latin America. Unrelated to the Frozen Christmas Celebration.

Both WDW and DLR had "Tiana's Showboat Jubilee" premiere when the movie came to theaters. A live show on the the Rivers of America, with dancers, singers (at DLR), and live musicians. It still has it's own unit in DLR's Soundsational parade.

It's already in the regular Christmas parade during MVMCP. Though yeah...burn it.

Very true. However the Village Marketplace had perhaps a dozen stores? Compared to over 100 in DS? Walt Disney had 3rd party vendors in Disneyland; why is it now a bad idea in today's world? Or is it just that they won't be operated by Disney? Not if what you want (shopping) is off...

I very much agree. To many, many people, shopping is a big part of their vacation. So Disney saw that people left WDW to shop at stores not provided on property. DS brings this type of shopping experience to the vacationer. I see absolutely nothing wrong with this, and I certainly do not...

My post was about this small entertainment change at DAK, not the larger resort as a whole. DAK replaced one character for another (a much better character in my opinion...sorry, Daisy). This is not "smaller and smaller entertainment options". So, complaining for the sake of complaining.
