Disney's Next Acquisition Speculation / Discussion

So far this year, according to box office mojo, there have been 638 movies released. Disney and Fox have combined for 19 of those movies. That is 2% of the total and hardly market dominance. The fact to which people go to watch the 19 movies vs the other 619 has to do with the content and...

The Integration of Fox into the Disney Corporate Family: Parks, Movies, IPs, Studios

I think the $1.95 Billion is in debt (therefore total value is $4.15B). I am sure Disney has Endemol Shine signed up with Hulu for long-term streaming rights as well, so this appears to be a great deal for the Mouse-House.

While the company may report these numbers, Disney can't recognize any of the revenue until the service goes live, so...

Sony & MARVEL are friends again; Spider-Man is back in the MCU

If Men in Black is under a license agreement, like Spider-man, then the same condition (let the contract lapse) could occur. I have not heard anything about that licensing agreement and if it has a termination date. As for Ghostbusters, I now think you are in an acquisition mode, and inviting...
