    Restaurant reservations

I'd recommend both, especially Walt's. I'd say you'd be OK making a reservation when you arrive at the resort, as January is a quiet time to visit, however because of this the restaurant hours and staffing are reduced. If you want to book for specific times (as opposed to taking what's left) I...

    Annual pass sponsorship offer

You may or may not know that Disneyland Paris has a sponsorship scheme whereby if an annual pass holder sponsors a new guest for an annual pass, the new person gets a nice little 10% off. The drawback is it can only be done on days when both the sponsor and new guest are in the park. I'm able...

Have you ever *wanted* a ride to break down?

In a 'wow, that's so impressive' or a 'wow, what a dump' kinda way? :angelic:

    Spending Money...?

Hey, That's really a length of a piece of string kinda question, but if you're used to visiting the parks in the US you'll find merchandise, drinks and snack pricing pretty on-par. I'd also say it depends which version of the Half Board meal plan you're on. The standard HB is comparable with...

Have you ever *wanted* a ride to break down?

I'm intrigued by all the behind the scenes stuff, so I do enjoy a ride stoppage! My only ever evac was from BTM at DLP, which was really interesting and fun. I'd like to experience some more ride evacs.

    25th Anniversary

Agree it'll make a great ride, but the interior will be a thematic departure from the exterior, so I do hope they address it in some way. The three mont downtime isn't long enough to do a complete overhaul of the exterior, but I hope at least some effort is made with the queue line to make a...

    25th Anniversary

The 20th lasted nearly 2 years. I'd be surprised if this didn't last 18 months or more.

Paint the night is not moving to Disney World. Stop bumping this.

I'm at MK right now and the parade route already has hundreds of people camped out for the 9pm parade - in over 3 hours! Gonna be a crazy night...

    Free theme park parking question

Thanks for clarifying that, Minnie Mum. I thought that was the case, but was surprised to see the expiry date on our refillable mugs as the end date for our park tickets, rather than the AKL check out date I was expecting. It was more wishful thinking than anything else to hope that we'd get the...

    Free theme park parking question

Hi guys, sorry if this is an easy question that I should be able to find the answer to quickly, but I've searched and I can't! I'm currently on my vacation at Animal Kingdom Lodge. We got 8 days here, with DDP, but our park tickets are 14 days and we'll be visiting from offsite during our final...

New nighttime show 'Rivers of Light' confirmed to be coming to Disney's Animal Kingdom

I'm here right now and booked last year for five months after ROL opening feeling confident that I'd be here to see it and with enough time for any teething problems to have been ironed out. Wrong! Oh well... Live and learn... Still have a wonderful trip

Forthcoming DLP refurbs for the 25th and beyond

It's jargon. Basically when Disney used to charge per ride, guests would purchase coupons from booths. Rides were categorised with a letter (A-E) and you'd need to purchase a coupon with the letter corresponding to the type of ride you wanted. The most expensive coupon reserved for the...

    Boardwalk Bakery on dining plan

Been googling and searching the forum and not had much luck finding out what's on offer at Boardwalk Bakery. I have my 17th WDW vacation coming up next month, and believe it or not I have NEVER been to Boardwalk! All that's going to change... Can anyone tell me what they count as a 'counter...

First trip!! Tips and feedback please

I can answer your second question. The RER A from central Paris to DLP starts about 5:30am, and the park generally opens at 10, so yes, you can easily get there for park opening. Aim to catch the train about 9am and you'll be fine!
