Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

So they've replaced an underwhelming experience with an underwhelming experience with IP. They certainly haven't invested much in that Mater - um - model? I was going to say 'animatronic', but it's not even that. Look at the immersive quality of the Cars characters at DCA or Lightning McQueen at...

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

Totally get that it’s a cheap stop-gap of an attraction, but the Cars Road Trip looks so very, very underwhelming.

MAGICal DLP News, Rumours & Thoughts

It's tired. Very, very tired. And the food is, at best, edible. On the whole Disney Village dining, like most dining at DLP, sucks. They have the most stunning park, the best versions of BTM, SM, PotC (I haven't been to Shanghai) and world-class entertainment, but good food at DLP is hard to...

    Disneyland Paris Reopening

I'm lucky enough to work from home and have no crucial need to go out, so self-isolation is perfectly achievable for me, and a Disney trip is worth the hassle. Thanks for the tip-off about the Pride Lands and Jive running until end of October. I've been searching for end dates, but I suspect...

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

Sensible, but as much as I dislike the mess of that park in general, its ride lineup is pretty important to a lot of DLP visitors. The likes of ToT, Crush, Rat and even RC Racer would be a big loss for many. Perhaps a good compromise would be reduced hours or even weekend only openings?

    Annual pass availability

I've also always avoided school holidays, but perhaps the low crowds of the last couple of weeks emboldened me somewhat. I'm glad the park isn't dead. After this week's Q3 results, every guest counts!

    Annual pass availability

Chatting to a few other guests and also ED92 on Twitter, it seems this week has seen a massive influx in visitors, mainly driven by French school holidays. I've been checking weekend wait times for the last few Sundays, as I always use a weekend to gauge 'worst case scenario' crowd levels...

    Annual pass availability

So I came. Annual pass bought. Man, the park is busy today! And my goodness, the European crowd is AWFUL at social distancing. Glad to say park ops seem to be running well, but there needs to be an increase in cast members enforcing the Covid rules. Watching the WDW crowds on vlogs makes me feel...

Transformative Multi-Year Expansion Announced for WDS Paris

I don't think anyone really knows what the construction schedule is like at this point. Cars Route 66 is due open soon, per the original expectation, but I'm doubtful we'll see that this year... Would love to be proven wrong, though

What Disney movie needs a dark ride

If we're talking 'scary' dark rides, it'll never happen due to the movie's status as a massive failure, but I'd 100% love to see a Black Cauldron story coaster. If fun and whimsical is the plan, Zootopia/Zootropolis would be perfect, too.

    Annual pass availability

That's a very good point, especially on the parking. Same at WDW. It's been a few years since I visited a Disney park without an AP, so I think I take these things for granted. In my head parking is still free for everyone! I'm getting old...

    Annual pass availability

I'm glad people are still buying annual passes, even if it means getting into a long line at the bureau. I would've expected demand to have gone down, but I guess people may be hoping that Illuminations and other shows will return within the year, and they can come back for a more rounded Disney...

    Annual pass availability

Amazing, thanks, you're spot on! Yes, the words 'subject to availability' in the blurb about registering have a sneaky hyperlink that I missed. For anyone else in the same boat, this link may work: https://register.disneylandparis.com/availability-calendar/?segments=ticket,ap

    Annual pass availability

Thank you! Think I may buy a one day pass and upgrade on the day. You can still do that at the AP Bureau, right?

    Annual pass availability

Hi folks. Looking for some advice on availability for parks access. I didn't renew my DLP Magic Plus this year as I wanted to have a break for a couple of years during the WDSP expansion. But with it looking unlikely I'll be able to travel from the UK to Florida in the foreseeable, I'm going to...

News Disney Park Pass System announced for Walt Disney World theme park reservations

Apart from the fact the park pass system went live early, the process was easy and smooth. Made reservations for MK, DHS and AK during the week my current AP expires in August. Still have no idea if I'll be legally allowed to travel to Florida from the UK by then. Fingers crossed.

    Splash Mountain re-theme announced

Absolutely. If you're asking if I'm one of those fans that simply applauds every move Disney makes, no I am not. But there's no simple explanation of where to draw the line because every situation is different. I'll always reserve final judgement on an attraction until I've experienced it...

    Splash Mountain re-theme announced

I've taken some time to think about this retheme. I've also skimmed through hundreds of posts in this thread and I think some contributors need to reflect on their own position too. Splash Mountain is the ride that holds the dearest place in my heart, ever since it first opened at Disneyland in...

News Disney extending Walt Disney World Annual Pass duration by an additional month

March 15 (closing day) to May 23 is 69 days. 69 days after reopening on July 11 is Sept 19. So what they've given you is spot on, nothing extra. Although that may be added extra, of course.

News Disney extending Walt Disney World Annual Pass duration by an additional month

Any thoughts or intel on whether this extra month would be pro-rated for people whose AP expired during the closure period? My pass has been extended for 49 days (Mar 15-May 5, my original expiry date). I wonder if I'll be eligible for a portion of an extra month? So many questions!!
