Is it "superfans" or "extroverts"? That's a typical problem in RPG scenarios which you can moderate (aham, DM properly) in smaller groups but gets unwieldy in larger ones.

Actually, NO - TFA accounted for, at best 1.5 billion of the 4 billion cost for LFL (and that doesn't include production/marketing costs). Solo lost money and while Rogue One and TLJ made decent inroads (but nowhere near TFA money), the franchise has petered out with ROTS and they still haven't...

I'm 99% sure they've baked in the ROI on this within one year so long as they can keep a full boat. Anything after that is pure cream (minus operating costs)

I don't think this is just a Star Wars problem - Disney parks creations have been pretty consistently a MISS for the past several years. (Rivers of Light, new Epcot show with the stargate, retheming Maelstrom to Frozen, destruction of future world, detheming the resorts, etc; )
