Haunted Mansion theme on World Series organ tonight

While we're on the subject of the concerto as a whole, here's some deep cut trivia. "Otherworldly Concerto" was done up by Gaylord Carter, a famed silent film organist who among countless films, did the track for Steamboat Bill Jr. starring Buster Keaton, which as you may be able to tell from...

Coco Family Celebration begins this weekend at Disney Springs

I enjoy very aggressively humming the Disneyland Space Mountain soundtrack, so there’s that.

Grand Avenue and Baseline Tap House

Reminds me a bit of Hangar Bar at springs, or Abracadabar. Small spaces for hanging out with drinks. Though this seems to be the most limited food menu. That being said I still really like the theming, and will definitely check it out!

Favorite Song From The Disney Parks

I could go on forever, but I’ve really been on parade jamz this week. Particularly soundsational (and flights of fantasy which I recently discovered Bears the same tune), jammin jungle, and spectro (rest it’s soul).

    Rumor Bye Bye (Tiki) Birdies?

The fountain in Disneyland’s version is one of very few special effects in the parks that actually “got me”, meaning I wasn’t instantly aware of generally how the effect was produced. Would love to see it in Florida.

Which STAR WARS Land will be more crowded at opening, DISNEYLAND or Disneyworld? VIP Ticketing???

DL by far. And to make matters worse that corner of the park is awful to try to get to. If only they had an expansion pad off Tomorrowland

Grand Avenue and Baseline Tap House

DCA as a whole consistently knocks my socks off. At least it did until guardians came.

Grand Avenue and Baseline Tap House

Perhaps we could call the park Disney California Adventure :p

Toy Story Land expansion announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

Looks an awful lot like something one might find in cars land :cautious:

In regard to Beast, Mermaid, & Indiana

UNBELIEVABLY good. So glad I got to see it and wish I had seen it multiple times. Fingers crossed for an appearance in the new MK Theatre or something of that quality. Tangled might be nice, or princess and the frog? As far as the shows in the topic of this thread, I've not seen beast or mermaid...

Grand Avenue and Baseline Tap House

The important structures I was referring to are on the real Grand Ave in DTLA. CalPlaza, Walt Disney Concert Hall and US Bank Tower to name a few. Edit: That being said I LOVE Muppets Courtyard, but if we can't have SoA, I'll take Grand Avenue in a heartbeat. The real Grand Ave has a very movie...

Grand Avenue and Baseline Tap House

Tacky? It's an actual street. With some very important structures on it nonetheless.

'Maria and Enzo' Italian Restaurant coming to Disney Springs this fall

If you've ever been to Downtown Disney in Anaheim I really dig the street performers there. Some killer dudes with guitars. On topic note, this restaurant sounds really really cool and I'm looking forward to getting a sense of the interior vibe.

News Disney Not Renewing Great Movie Ride Sponsorship Deal with TCM ; Attraction to Close

In all my visits since 2000, I never once got the bank robber scene.

    Remembering Marty Sklar

I echo many of the previous posts, and add that it's nice to know that so many other people feel the gravity of Marty's passing. To so many, to the average guest, his work goes unnoticed.

Grand Avenue and Baseline Tap House

Not sure about streetcars, but the Angel's Flight Railway, built in 1901, will soon reopen, transporting passengers from CalPlaza on Bunker Hill down to the Market on Hill Street. Aaaaaand, it was in the Muppet movie during Man or Muppet. Angelsflight.org

Grand Avenue and Baseline Tap House

What if, they added LA, kept the New York vibe, and added some more here and there, and called it "Streets of America"! :p

Disney Quest to close in July 2017

I hate it a little less now that I know they're tearing it down, and the new structure may better fit the vibe. But I still have as little desire to experience the NBA as I did to experience Disney Quest, more than once anyways.
