Dining outside of the parks for "cheap"

Beach Club sounds like an awesome option. I'm gonna have to check it out.

What's the one thing you HAVE to have on your visit to WDW?

Dagger! I meant to try the cronut on our last trip and forgot! #firstworldproblems That snapper sounds awesome.

What's the one thing you HAVE to have on your visit to WDW?

How sad! We were only introduced to this wonderful sammich back in December! Hopefully you just fell victim to bad circumstances, and the poor quality you experienced is not indicative of all Patisserie Croque Monseuirs. I hope that came off right.

What's the one thing you HAVE to have on your visit to WDW?

No problem! Croque Monsieur is actually a fancy ham & cheese sandwich. And let me tell you... I don't normally like ham & cheese, but this is in a league of it's own, even when compared to other sandwiches of the same name on Disney property.

Dining outside of the parks for "cheap"

I will be working out of the Orlando area for around a week next week and need some tips on where to EAT! When we're at Disney we usually hit up the restaurants in the parks, but since I can't convince the wife to let me spend the cash on tickets to go to the parks for only a handful of hours...

What's the one thing you HAVE to have on your visit to WDW?

I must have both of those, too. These two items encompass the most of my Disney snack points spent on any given trip. AAAAAAnd now I want some of each.

What's the one thing you HAVE to have on your visit to WDW?

A new favorite, for sure, but the Croque Monseuir at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in EPCOT (in France, in case it wasn't abundantly clear) is amazing.

    Disney bus transportation etiquette rant

Reminds me of the time I held a door for a young lady, and she went o-f-f OFF on me, something to the tune of "YOU DON'T THINK MY WEAK GIRL ARMS CAN OPEN THE DOOR ON MY OWN, HUH?? Oh, I need a BIG STRONG MAN to do it for me, huh? You CHAUVINIST..." blah blah blah I just stood there...

Ridiculous: Everyone is forced to stand now in the Wishes fastpass area.

Agreed, but to complain that one visiting this premium priced resort can't sit in the grass on their fair-skinned little tushie in what is essentially the "reserved" section, for which they didn't have to pay an *extra* premium, while taking in an amazing, astronomically costly fireworks &...

    Favorite Obscure disney thing?

I downloaded the Finale music from Fantasmic! the other day at work, and it immediately took me right smack dab to the middle of the amphitheater (sadly, only figuratively). It's amazing what Disney Parks music can do even when you're out in the real world.

Ridiculous: Everyone is forced to stand now in the Wishes fastpass area.

Don't you have to stand for the entirety of "Oh! Canada!", too? That's still open... maybe this joke went over my head.

Ridiculous: Everyone is forced to stand now in the Wishes fastpass area.

This couldn't be further from the truth; it takes up far much more space than standing. Grass is made for sitting?

No more Dole Whip Swirls at Aloha Isle?

Personally, I find it odd that anyone would weaken the amazing, tart flavor of the Pineapple Dole Whip with Vanilla, or even Orange. I admittedly tried it ONCE due to the insistence of a chatty Cathy in line behind me, who told me the Pineapple-Orange swirl was...

A week away and the possibility of rain is scaring my party!

I hail from Texas, and the rain I've experienced in Florida is nothing compared to the thunderstorms we experience in Texas. Every single time I've experienced rain when we visited Walt Disney World, save ONE brief storm, the rain was very light, not much more than what I would consider a...

A week away and the possibility of rain is scaring my party!

I will second this. @Joshrzmeup you sound like you need the trip desperately, so go! Don't let your mother overreacting to an abundance of moisture stop you. Have a blast!

A week away and the possibility of rain is scaring my party!

It has rained on literally every trip we've ever taken to Walt Disney World, and it didn't damper our trip or spirits one little bit. At it's WORST, a couple of rides were shut down for an hour, maybe two. At it's best, it took the edge off of a very hot day, and was actually very refreshing...

Here ye, Here ye .... Liberty Tree Tavern how you will be missed

WOW your title scared me for a minute! I thought you had some news that it was going to change to something else entirely. Whew. We love LTT so much; it's one of our top ADRs every trip. We usually go to WDW in September, so this would've hit us hard, but thanks to our recent home purchase...

All There Is To Eat At WDW Are Burgers and Fries!!

Umm, asking people? That's very hard! Why don't they already know what I want to eat before I ask for it (even though I honestly have no idea myself sometimes), and have giant neon arrows on the ground that light up and point me to the restaurant that has that food I crave?!? I'm on vacation...
