I think this is going to be a decent replacement(crossing fingers) that’s updated for the younger generation.
All I’m asking for is a new animatronic to replace hopper.
Didn’t an insider say 2025 was a huge year for entertainment at WDW ?
I wonder if this is the first announcement among others for more offerings at the parks.
That makes sense considering the amount of work they are putting into that expansion.
I’m not sure how budget cycles work but hopefully when the funds are available they approve it right away.
I was thinking how they recently patented a ride system that could be used for that attraction.
That signals to me that the concept is still very much blue sky. Highly unlikely they canceled or axed it considering Moana’s popularity.
Just wasn’t ready to be showcased this time around...
So all the announcements for WDW were the ones furthest in development ?
Is Moana is still being worked on for Adventureland ??
Was the Coco boat ride concept being developed exclusively for DCA ?
Because I thought BBTM was going to get a land for that IP.
P.S. I guess wish casting on this...
I don’t think anybody was expecting any Epcot projects so the longe announcement is a plus I guess. 😂🙃😐
Also any blue sky ideas wouldn’t be presented anyway so. 🙄
I will never understand why some of this board complain about closures. Especially to refurbish aging attractions people swear Disney never does at WDW.
I really don’t understand the infatuation with that generation(1950s).
People tend to present that time period with rose colored glasses.
Change is good and necessary in a lot of ways.
Trying to cling to the past is not very healthy in the long run.
Thank you for being the only sane and reasonable poster on this side of the aisle.
Please stay true to who you are and provide the much needed balance over here because everybody posts like it’s the 1950s still.
I was worried for a second because I had forget this was a USH thread. 😂
Also the terms half day and full day are so overused and have no value anymore.
I hope so but some insiders seem to be hinting at phases for this project. Plus I know Disney loves spreading budgets out years at a time.
Personally I think they should start everything simultaneously at once with the villains land being the last to open.
That’s interesting considering the fact Disney is being sued right now because a lot of employees moved to Florida just for the HQ to be cancelled.
Are they all working from home or is Disney actually renting out some office space?
