FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

If you can't tell, there was a bit of a tongue in cheek approach to my post (as evidenced by my comment about Ohana Noodles). We've discussed this in the past - but you and I (and probably others) are comfortable with the hyper planning required to enjoy WDW. I used to tell people in the past...

Yeah, I know. It doesn't change how terrible the system is or how terrible the evolution to this system was.

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

I can't see how Universal is worse at this.....at all. They have a product that serves the park guests very well at a price that keeps everyone from buying it. Also, something that @matt9112 said which really needs restating is this: Its not enough that you have to buy park tickets several...

Guest jumps off Living with the Land boat to grab a cucumber

I always wanted some of that water from POTC. I spent more time than I'm willing to admit trying to dream up covert ways to stick an empty Aquafina bottle in the water and come up with the prize. However, those dreams were killed for good when I read a story of someone losing some fingertips...

Guest jumps off Living with the Land boat to grab a cucumber

There's a twitter user who said he was on the rear of the boat - and that they got on and off a total of four times. He also said that the 'voice of god' kept reminding them to keep their hands and feet inside the ride. So he thought they were indeed watching them......but then, they got off...

Guest jumps off Living with the Land boat to grab a cucumber

Yeah, I mean....of all of the things to steal from Disney, she picks a cucumber 🥒.....and people keep assuming she had plans to eat it! 🤣

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

I really wish we'd all stop using these antiquated terms. For as long as most of us have lived, there has not been a simply-defined lower, middle or upper class in this country. There are several layers to these 'classes' that fluctuate heavily depending on what part of the country you're...

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

Yes, But dont discount pent-up demand. Large portions of the country are starting to declare some sort of official end to the pandemic - especially in some of the more locked down states. People who haven't vacationed in a year or more - who may have had 1-3 vacations canceled on them, are...

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

I'll be perfectly honest here: I greatly prefer staying on-property and I have a few small reasons why. The primary reason is the bubble. To date, I have not been able to put a price on shutting myself off from the real world. I much prefer being on a cruise for that, but being inside the...

Who Should Narrate New Spaceship Earth?

I know it's been mentioned before but......Samuel L. Jackson. On one particular trip through SSE, as we were coming up on the relevant scene, I overheard someone in front of us do a pretty damn good impression of Mr Jackson and yell out "Thank the Phoenicians, Everyone on the ride broke into...

No, not the main driver. A contributing one. You can't discuss attendance increases without also recognizing that planned capacity decreases (via attraction closures/redesigns) and guest redistribution (via FP+) throughout the parks have also ruined wait times. The effect is synergistic.

FastPass+ Most Certainly Not Coming Back As It Was

I know we've gone back and forth on this a bit - so I want to avoid revisiting that debate. I'm just curious as this might have a bearing on our differing opinions on FP+. When do you generally travel to WDW? Do you generally travel to WDW during off-peak (to the extent off-peak still exists)...

    Dining with characters is done

To me, this is a flat out defenseless point - for anyone that tries to claim DDP wasn't at the epicenter of food quality decline. Also, I highly doubt the flat rate you refer to was getting adjusted upward in line with food/service cost increases & inflation - resulting in a continued downward...

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

This is going to be up to interpretation. Personally, I disagree. It the context of that call, it sounded to me like he was talking about calendar years, not fiscal years. Usually when accountants and managers specifically speak about fiscal years - they say the phrase 'fiscal year' to avoid...

[Rumor] Rock n Roller Coaster Starring Olivia Rodrigo

If I could Turn Back Time was released in 1989. Artists were not using autotune in the 80s - as most of them were still recording to tape then.... I think the song you meant to say was Cher's song, "Believe" - which was released in 1998. Believe made significant use of autotune as both a pitch...

[Rumor] Rock n Roller Coaster Starring Olivia Rodrigo

OK, So someone who's had a hit or two over the past year is going to replace an artist who has been recording albums for 40 years, with numerous hits and charting albums spanning 4 decades. I'm not sure how much more idiotic this can get, but we're getting close. I fully recognize that...
