News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Why would that mean no Figment and Dreamfinder? Neither were ever in the 3D theater. Figment is considered an IP today, so they could absolutely still redo the ride.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I would be OK with this because: 1. I would actually visit Imagination again (and it would save MV3D). 2. It would push Inside Out to WoL, which I would much rather have. 3. Less pressure to add them to the HoP. 4. They're not going to stop looking to replace it in its current location, if it's...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I previously mentioned the height requirement issue. Apparently, the feeling is that the "new" Mermaid show will offset the loss of Muppets. Read into that what you will. To me, it's not new, but Disney's treating it as a new addition.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Definitely not at this time, right after they just put some money into it. It wouldn't be all that hard to retheme Star Tours and keep the simulators. They are old, but I wouldn't say to the point that they need completely ripped out for a new concept. I mean, they semi-recently introduced...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

It's important to note, this won't save Muppets either. This generation of leadership seem determined to replace something one way or another. It's not just D'Amaro either, they were determined to replace GMR before him, it's the generation of leaders. If Muppets doesn't go for Monsters, it will...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

That's because both locations have apparently been considered, probably to test reactions to both, as if they care (come on, they're taking out ROA). I think you saw it yesterday, but people who park behind the AC were apparently even told they couldn't park there in the future. So, it's a mess...

Rumor Hall of Presidents Replaced by Muppets American History Show???

Keep in mind, this is hypothetical, however, and I don't mean for it to be political, just putting this situation out there, but let's say we finally get our first woman president. Is it a bad look to change the show to The Muppets after multiple decades of a more dignified show, in that...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

This one is probably the hardest announcement for me to digest. I love certain aspects of these changes and hate others. Losing TSI is going to be very hard. I'll admit, we rarely go over there, but it's always appreciated, even from afar. I do like that there won't be a dead end at BTMRR...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

So many good points why this will most certainly be in the AC. It also used the same structure. Monster's Inc would require demolition and new exterior construction either way. So, it's definitely a different situation. Let's mention another that I haven't seen mentioned yet: height...

News New Play Pavilion to replace Epcot's Wonders of Life

I actually took that as good news. They didn't announce IO for Imagination, it makes me believe that they are considering going bigger. Fingers crossed!

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

No hotel mentions at all. Not even Reflections or whatever it'll be called. Josh briefly mentioned some recent hotel projects and I thought it was coming, then nothing related. I think we'll definitely see more announcements in the year ahead, probably something at Destination D23.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I also don't see them blocking off the main entrance of Galaxy's Edge for construction. If that were Grand Avenue in the background, that whole area would be seeing major structural changes since only one building looks like the current Grand Avenue buildings. There's also not a water tower...

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

That's a similar look, but that's not Grand Avenue. At least, not as it is today.

New Streaming Prices and Disney+ to Introduce Continuous Playlists in U.S.

The issue for Disney is that people can cancel easily. We only have Netflix for 1 to 2 months a year now. I've been purchasing our background shows on Fandango to have ad free and whenever we are without a service. Really, we are strongly looking at only having Disney+ for a month or two...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I would place my bet on it being open through Christmas/NYE, just for DAK to have higher capacity. BUT- I could be wrong. They'll have to go a year (at that time of year) without it either way.

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

Notice that they STILL add WoL (I am no longer going to call it Play!) in this?

    Disney Dream Dry Dock 2024

It was true, but that was planned before the pandemic. It still could happen, but it appears that they are focusing more on the concierge this round.

News New Play Pavilion to replace Epcot's Wonders of Life

Especially for something like Play! What could you cut, exactly? It was about as bare bones as you could get. Projected labor costs are what killed it and I don't see how they'd trim those.
