    Reader’s Corner

I was actually a little disappointed with this when I finished it. It was a bit gross for me (although I'm a big horror fan and usually gross doesn't bother me, not sure why this one did). Also I didn't like the ending...

These are the books I've read since finishing Funny Story(which I really enjoyed, this and Book Lovers are my favourite of Emily Henry's books I think). Of the last three books I really liked Finlay Donovan and Grave Expectations. I was enjoying The Weekend Break but didn't really care for the...

I finished Fantasticland. Really enjoyed it. Its a kind of Lord Of The Flies set in a theme park!! Liked the format too, each chapter is an interview with someone who was there. This is next, I'm just a few pages in but I already think I'm going to love it!

Finished this, it's the fourth in a series. I really like this series but I think this one is my favourite so far. I would highly recommend them. On to this next. It's a horror story set in a theme park in Florida!! Should be interesting!

I made these to donate to the local hospice. Unfortunately my dad passed away there last April. He was there during Easter. They were selling Easter chick's which had been knitted by volunteers at reception so we bought some. I started thinking then that I could knit some stuff for them. They...

I finished Stephen King's book of short stories You Like It Darker, I particularly enjoyed Danny Coughlin's Bad Dream and Rattlesnakes, which was a sequel to Cujo. Reading this now, I always enjoy a Josie Quinn mystery

Just finished this one. I was really enjoying but the ending felt a bit rushed or abrupt.... Still worth a read though🤷‍♀️ Starting this one next. It's the 11th in a series I really like so I've high hopes!

I was planning on knitting two of this blanket, one pink and one blue to have ready for our pregnant niece. I had started the pink one when her baby boy arrived early! I'm going to start the blue one now and try to finish it a bit quicker than the pink one took me (about seven weeks)!!

Thanks! I just had a look at this on goodreads and I will definitely give it a go. I'm actually going to Kerry for a week in July for my 50th birthday so it will be perfect in the run up to that! There are a few Irish author's I read, Marian Keyes is my favourite but I also really like Ciara...

Just finished this, I needed something light with less zombies after starting off the year with Bradys Weep books (which I enjoyed but aren't exactly light and fluffy😂 This was perfect for that and I really enjoyed, I've also enjoyed Beth O Leary's other books particularly The Flat Share.

Thank you! I've never tried crochet, it just looks really difficult to me! My daughter recently made her first quilt and having seen her do it I might try it myself one day. I've given some of the baby blankets to family and friends but I seem to knit faster than they have babies😂 Couple more...
