Going to Universal for first time this summer. Will be our first time skipping disney in about five years... not a great time to go to WDW right now.

When does anyone think WDW can get better or as good as when it was in its prime (1990 it seems)? Or is that almost impossible... :(

An Indy mini land on the scale of Kong, a GoTG overlay of ST, and an animation courtyard re-theme to Pixar Place to allow for future pixar expansions is what I'm hoping for. All three of them is probably a pipe dream, but maybe 2 of 3?

So i just went and looked at the Star Wars Land construction progress thread for Disneyland, and all it did was get me mad. There DL is getting all these buildings cleared, actually making progress, etc. And there's DHS just sitting there with no progress at all. What is the point of rushing in...

How do you assume this? I remember someone saying recently that the move of SWL from echo lake area to SOA/LMA will make it so that DHS's version will open just 4 months after. If anything, the recent news certainly decreased the time period between DL's opening and DHS's opening.

I noticed some cargo packages addressed to Walt Disney World. Knowing Disney, the only reason DHS's SWL is opening later is because they decided to send these using the cheapest shipping option available. :rolleyes: :banghead:

Adventure Land would probably work, but chances are if they wanted to use Indy anywhere, it would be in DHS, just cause it needs a lot more than MK obviously. Id really welcome a mini Indy land as it would allow Echo Lake to be kept as a buffering area between Hollywood and lands based on...

I have a question regarding a potential Indy mini land. Would they re-theme the stunt show to a less movie-making standpoint? I enjoy the stunt show, I just think the theme of the new park wouldn't warrant that type of show.

In order for SWL to have the 14 acre space it was said to have, it would need both SOA and LMA, with the leftover 4 acres or so there needed for staging for both SWL and TSL. IMO, for such a small space, they should just dedicate it to future Star Wars expansion rather than use it on a small...

I think the closest Disney has gotten to this is in Disney Studios Park in Paris. Not sure how well the theming flows, but it goes from Finding Nemo to Cars to Ratatouille to Toy Story pretty quickly. It's hard to tell how seamless these transitions are just by the map, but at least Disney has...

My favorite idea is to have Animation Courtyard as the new Pixar Place. Make it just a couple of pixar titles at first, but there's always expansion room behind it for more titles if they ever wanted to do more.

It'd be really nice to get the door coaster and Harry Hausen's as a replacement to Animation Courtyard. Then an Indy mini land over at Echo lake. Not as amazing as we could've had but still not too shabby.

Yeah I agree that anything new probably wouldn't have the various scenes that makes every experience different. That'll probably be a loss with a re-theming
