Disney take Star Wars far too seriously. Under George Lucas the force was a lot more fun & happy to make fun of itself. Here in the UK we used to have great adverts with the droids and yoda, not as good as crystal beer but still fun, I bet Disney would never sanction this

It always amazes me how much more expensive the train usually is no matter where you are. Even in Japan its often cheaper to fly than take the shinkansen if you have a long journey. Its the same in Europe. It is a shame because train travel is usually nice but its not worth a large premium...

Good point. I think it’s probably cheaper to build a ship than fill in more landfill to expand the resort. It also lets them build off the existing investment whereas building somewhere else in Japan, like the Fukuoka plans OLC considered in the past would be in competition with the main resort.

I’d reverse it and make Jungle Book the water ride. That movie has a lot of water action. Lion King could use a test track / RSR type set up give you a stampede thrill dark ride combo

Rather than a straightforward sequel I’d love to see more of James Clavell’s asian saga given this treatment. Chronologically Tai Pan is the next novel and would make a great series, it only had a B movie adaptation previously but could be fantastic if it was made in the same way
