    Worst Walt Disney World Attraction

Um... really if not for Pirates, there would be no reason to step foot into Adventureland. Swiss Family Treehouse is total waste of space, granted not a ton of space but still. Jungle Cruise has been a must skip for years for us and Carpets,... maybe once every 3 trips unless line is short, and...

Three hotels in 8 days. Are we dumb?

You say you are DVC, which we are as well, and that is one of the positives of being DVC in my eyes... you do not need to see all the resorts in one trip. Pick one and stay there this time and next time choose another and stay there and enjoy each one over your full vacation. I would never do a...

How does WDW compare to rides outside of it? Can you name singular rides that equal or better Disney's?

Actually the small but nice zoo, and the waterpark are included in the regular Hersheypark admission. At Chocolate World the ride is free, but there area few other attractions that have separate costs. We have gone there at least once a year for at least the past 20 years. The town of Hershey...

Walt Disney World Resort hotels now charging handling fees for in-room deliveries

I don't think that is true... delivery to bell services is free and you can pick it up there free of charge. However, if you want Disney to deliver it from Bell services to your specific room... that is where the $6 charge comes in. At least that is how I am understanding it.

Walt Disney World Resort hotels now charging handling fees for in-room deliveries

I could be wrong since I have never had things delivered, but I am pretty sure the delivery company delivers only to the front of the resort. It is then Disney who takes it from there to the particular resort room and that is what I think they are now changing from free to $6... which all in all...

News 'Disney After Hours' ticketed event

You beleive what you want... I have been burned by shortening of regular park hours for some Afterhours event that was scheduled after park hours are posted. May not have been this specific edition of DAH... but they in fact do shorten the hours to schedule in a money grab. I know others have...

News 'Disney After Hours' ticketed event

Again... the afterhours events are not even scheduled for August. My original post stated that the problem that I have with it... is IF they do get scheduled on a night we are there that I will have to reschedule things. And yes they do in fact change their closing hours... because as I stated...

News 'Disney After Hours' ticketed event

You are missing the point I think...it is not a question of if i want to go or not... the answer there is I will never go. The problem I have is the fact is I do have to change things up, if they end up changing the hours we are at a park so an Afterhours event gets scheduled for. We base ADRs...

News 'Disney After Hours' ticketed event

Let's be realistic... these Afterhours BS events are making them $$$ and they will continue. My problem with this is that they know that and why only release up to end of June? They kind of force their guest to make the ADRs, which are often dictated by which park are we going to on what day...

Some questions for those familiar with DLR...

Wow... tough crowd. lol Thanks chadwpalm and that what I always thought Raven. Also thanks to all the replies with walking advice. Originally, I was looking into the Holiday Inn(I have a ton of IHG points) just north of the Mickey parking garage... but based on the advice here I guess I...

Some questions for those familiar with DLR...

Still thinking of a possible first trip, I have a few questions... 1) If I stay off property where exactly is the pedestrian entrance? Can I walk through DTD or is there a alternate entrance to use? 2) I assume the Monorail does not operate until the park opens... but after park opening can...

After thinking about this... we have gone and changed our dates to be out before MADNESS week starts...between the increased crowd level and all the media that will be down there that whole week... glad it was a problem free change.

I guess I missed that... that makes sense then. Everyone should then have ample time to apply it during their vaca.

All you need to know about 'Service Your Way' at Walt Disney World Resort hotels

Doesn't directly affect me as we are DVC and used to no housekeeping... but I am curious about one thing. Why can't they just issue a credit for $10/day at the end of your stay instead of sending you a gift card at a later date?
