It's funny how Pop Century is now suddenly a terrible resort. Usually on here when someone asks what is the best Value resort, Pop Century wins. Now that they are building a new resort across the lake it's no longer a good place? :)

There is no financial incentive for WDW to retheme the existing Pop Century resort. The new resort will have its own separate themeing. (How do you spell themeing?) Tks. :)

Current price for a family suite at the All Star Music resort is $190 - $355, depending on the time of the year and the day of the week. A regular room there runs $82 - $154. :)

I don't think they can fine tune accounting enough to say that a particular attraction is paying for itself since all attractions are included in the park ticket price. What they do is to try to keep attendance up overall, and get repeat guests, and they know that it takes new attractions to do...

The Carousel of Progress features the early 1900's primarilly. Most people who see that attraction are relatively young. I don't think that people go to Pop Century based on when they were born in order to relive those times. The one time that we stayed at Pop Century we were in the 60's...

I was always curious as to what the decorations would be for the 1940's, the WWII time frame. :)

There will be less crowds in early November. After Thanksgiving Day the Christmas decorations will be up. It's a trade off. Good luck. :)

They may have decided to go with a completely different name for the new resort in order to prevent confusion if they are to operate separately and independently. Having two Pop Centurys might have caused problems. :)
