    News Tomorrowland love

I don’t care what anyone says, I’m still a fan of the castle cake. I always was and always will be.

First trip in 7 years...Tomorrowland is looking ROUGH.

As a first timer back in August, I didn’t notice anything that dated in the land. I guess that’s why Disney refuses to give the land a refurb ...?

    Disneylands Frontierland vs WDW Frontierland

I agree, but someone could argue that I have a nostalgic connection to it (which I do).

    Disneylands Frontierland vs WDW Frontierland

People need to give credit where credit is due. Not saying anyone is wrong as opinions are based on personal experiences and whatnot, but I strongly prefer the WDW Splash Mountain. I just rode the DL version this August, and boy was it an experience. I don’t know if this is a good thing (to...

    Disneyland Newbie Questions

If you can, definitely try for Blue Bayou in Disneyland! If it's available go for the Fantasmic dining package and kill two birds with one stone. On my trip in August my family only got one Maxpass to use for downloading PhotoPass pictures, and never used it for gaining ride FastPasses. We...

1st Timer looking for Classic Disneyland Things to Do

I knowww! We wasted so much points on cool things at the time, but we could have used it for one of the larger tours I'm sure if we saved everything from the start!

1st Timer looking for Classic Disneyland Things to Do

My first blog post summarizing the last month for me, is up on my blog. https://carsonsdisneyblog.wordpress.com/2017/08/23/to-infinity-and-beyond/ Would it be alright with everyone if I put links to my posts about last week here after I publish them? Or would you guys rather I just copy and...

New Mickey and Minnie heads - how we feeling?

When I was in Disneyland last week, I didn't pass up on the opportunity to meet Mickey Mouse. Although it was a tad awkward at some points (for one thing he was about a foot shorter than I was and he kept reaching for my hand and then me not knowing what to do I shook his hand about 4 times ...)...

News Paradise Pier Becoming Pixar Pier

I just came back to my hotel from my first day at DCA and loved Paradise Pier so much. I rode California Screamin' 3 times through out the day! I really have no clue how Disney is going to Pixar-ify the Pier, but I don't think it needs Pixar elements at all! Everything is great the way it is in...

1st Timer looking for Classic Disneyland Things to Do

Yes we did. About ten years of collecting points and we had an experience like no other. I had an amazing time. And of course of all the places in the world, the Walt Disney Studios is the only place that still trades Vinylmation. Of course I left my traders at home and had to pass up on two...

1st Timer looking for Classic Disneyland Things to Do

Just a couple more days until the parks for me! For today, we're going on a tour of the Walt Disney Studios and I couldn't be more excited.

1st Timer looking for Classic Disneyland Things to Do

Does anyone know if you can still trade Vinylmation at D-Street in Downtown Disney? I know Disney World got rid of trading back in 2015, but I'm not sure if Disneyland still does.

1st Timer looking for Classic Disneyland Things to Do

I'm beyond excited. Would you recommend getting a World of Color Fastpass on my DCA days? If yes, should I get that before or after trying to ride RSR and M:B?

MSEP blackout day tickets for So Cal APs

Eeek I hate to see some of you sad about the news that the blackout dates won't be lifted, buttttt I'm kind of selfishly ok with it because we booked our trip specifically around the blackout dates in order to hopefully have somewhat lower crowds. I don't really know what to think about it but...

Anyone else hate aerial views of the parks?

I like the behind the scenes looks at the parks, so I'm a fan of them. When you're at the parks it's not like you can see the roofs of the buildings anyway, so there's nothing that's going to remind you that you're in a giant collection of buildings and roads in the first place, right?

GMR is closing. Are you excited about it? What is your age range?

I'm excited for Runaway Railway, but I would like to see the Great Movie Ride stay.

1st Timer looking for Classic Disneyland Things to Do

Is it a good idea to start with the Fantasyland Dark rides at rope drop and then go over to Space Mountain for a Fastpass and then ride stand by Matterhorn? We'll be doing the extra magic hour for that day if that changes anyone's opinion.

1st Timer looking for Classic Disneyland Things to Do

I'm hoping there will be special merchandise for the actual ending on the last couple of nights. I won't be in DL on Sunday but hopefully there will be something for the nights before it.
