Copper Creek Villas Point Information Is In

Forgive my ignorance, but why purchase that many? That would get you, 2 nights per year in a cabin. ETA: I assume you're buying to stay in the studios or villas. I don't know. I love the Lodge, but see nothing about the new Villas that's nearly as nice about the original villas, decor wise.

Copper Creek Villas Point Information Is In

I used to go back and forth on whether DVC would be a good idea for me and my family. Now, I feel silly for ever thinking about it. Granted, the Cabins and Bungalows are extreme examples, but seriously, you are spot on. Just to buy in to the cabins for 1 week would be over $123,000, plus $5,000...

Thanks for that map. Jeez, they really killed about half the Lodge. So sad.

    Electrical Water Pageant Questions

Hey all. Two questions: 1.Can you still see the pageant from any part of the Poly beach with the bungalows in the way? 2.Did they remove the gator after the tragedy last year?

No more hammocks at the Polynesian

What I don't understand is why they took down so many trees and got rid of the swings and hammocks. The fence, I get it. Eh, what's the difference? In a decade there won't be any hotel rooms left. It'll all be DVC.

No more hammocks at the Polynesian

I'll take 2 showers and 2 sinks any day over 1 of each. Just means your family can get ready twice as fast.

    Jimmy Fallon Ride

I'm a pretty hard defender of all things Universal, but honestly, I'm really sick of the screen based rides. And even sicker of the painfully long pre-shows. That being said, Despicable Me and Simpsons are both very funny. I can't imagine this equaling either of those. I wish Universal would add...

    Best Moderate to Stay in?

I would choose Riverside for theme and rooms overall. CSR is a beautiful resort, but has the dullest rooms of any Moderate. With the announced refurbs, no way I would stay in one of those.

    Best Moderate to Stay in?

It really isn't. No further from the Magic Kingdom or Epcot than Coronado. Obviously closer to Disney Springs and further away from Animal Kingdom. The buses do get crowded though. Best bet is to use the 1st bus stop to get picked up at. Not always practical, but it would alleviate having to stand.

    Polynesian Studio or Standard Room

Which do you prefer? I've only stayed in a standard room, but from the videos I've seen, with the exception of the standalone shower in the studios, I would much prefer a standard room. The furniture is much more Polynesian looking to me. I also don't like how the studios don't have a bureau...

    Resort Scents

Odd as this sounds, I've always loved the scent in the All Star lobbies.

Sorry, but I am calling bologna on this. Either you've never been to the Magic Kingdom before or you need to get your eyes checked.

YES. Disney is so greedy. They just want profits. Blah. Blah. Blah. We seriously need to move past that. I don't think we should move past it. I think we should hold Disney accountable. If we don't, what right do we have to complain? I don't take 21 day holidays to Disney. We are commandos, we...

Number 3 is really the most bizarre (but incredibly true). You'd think they would at least provide some comfort. Those chairs and sofa look cheap and uncomfortable.

Nobody says you have to sit right in the middle of the Hub all day like those people. I've been at Christmas and in crazy busy summer season. I have NEVER sat there like that. It's not a good viewing point for the fireworks. Sure, we've sat at the entry end of Main Street for an hour for the...

That being said, we've stayed at the GF a couple times, the Poly a few. Some people consider that a waste of money. I'm not averse to spending a good amount of money at Disney. I've always thought Club Level was kind of a waste after we did it one time. But even that is a bargain compared to...

Not in the least bit. But I do have a major issue with the direction Disney is headed in. This is, so far, the most blatant example of sacrificing show for money. For the record, I never said I couldn't afford this.

I wonder if the people excited about the VIP viewing area has ever sat in one and realizes there are far better viewing areas in the park. And before you anyone says "Yeah, but I don't have to be in massive crowds", do some research. There are dozens of fantastic, uncrowded firework viewing...

I read somewhere else that they will be air conditioned. It is reprehensible however that the wealthy will need to use public restrooms with the common folk.
