Nah, we will end up with a smaller, educated and critically thinking population.

    Jungle Cruise Re-Imagining

The J and the C bother me more than they should from a design standpoint. Those pairs of horizontal lines in each should be going in the same direction. There's also aging of the green, but not the white, and the ships wheel is brand new. It just seems cobbled together, which I guess could be a...

Safe outdoor attraction with no indoor portion

Not enough worth the price of admission. I've heard it rains a lot in Florida.

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

There seem to be reports that people get sicker faster with the Delta variant. Not necessarily sicker, but faster equals less available response time. Many don't go to a doctor or the hospital when there are symptoms until it becomes unbearable. In that respect, quicker can be more deadly.

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

A lot of us are really past the point of any sympathy for those willfully not being vaccinated with the exceptions of a lack of ability to get one, whatever that reason(s) may be, and there are many. -Lack of access, including only having access to an inferior vaccine - even then, get something...

OK. IMO, vaccines and how they work should be taught in schools in 5th or 6th grade. In most cases, kids have had vaccines by that point that they remember and that's also when a bunch of other biological things are also taught.

It depends on the cruise line and specific ship practices, similar to any hotel or restaurant. I would love to go on a cruise again. I miss the buffets./unlimited food and the worry free, everything is taken care of aspects. It's a lovely vacation. But, we won't be comfortable doing so until we...

    Disney is lying to us.

Gee, if only they added attractions instead of taking them away (Mission to Mars/ Alien Encounter/Stitch) with all that land purchased. But, clearly, people are still coming at full price with less value.

I really miss The Walt Disney World Railroad

How long has the railroad been out of service? It seems like quite a while.

Swiss Family Treehouse and Tom Sawyer Island?

And that is a precious picture! Great smile from a clearly happy kid. Definitely a must do. There's also the fact that it is a walk on most of the time, which is a refreshing change from yet another line.

We are back to masking up for sure when in stores and getting in and out asap. In all stores I've been in during the past two weeks, except for some clearly privately owned establishments, employees are masked, though there is currently no state mandate. Our vaccination rate is pretty good, but...

If all are vaccinated, that creates the lowest chance of transmission. Anything else, it goes up, and there are variables. Some shed more than others. If the room has been cleared of covid by way of sterilization, all people have been tested and isolated prior to being in the room and tested...

I hope a lot of people know the difference between natural immunities. There are a lot who are are under the impression that they are naturally immune because they were exposed to someone clearly sick and they didn't catch it with serious consequences. Never mind about the variants, they are...

I don't think they see it that way, though. They see it as persecution for a personal choice. Eating a cheeseburger if your religion forbids it or loving a nice strip of yummy bacon. That's a personal choice. Update on masking here in N NJ: Easily 70% + I see are masked (and properly so, no...

I recently heard a comparison of forcing people to wear a mask if not vaccinated as forcing people to wear a scarlet letter for what should be their own personal choice. Hester Prynne's actions of having a child due to an extramarital affair did not spread a highly contagious and verified deadly...

I've got quite a few anecdotal stories of people we knew who died of this or are still having severe side effects of having covid-19. I choose not to post on social media sites (aside form this forum) and I'm not in the medical field. I guess the anecdotal stories must come from those directly...

The nurse definitely wasn't referring to the ages of those who died asking for a too late vaccination under her care as a main point. I think the intent of the post by Ariel1986 was to indicate 0 deaths from covid during those months ( using a table with data that not only didn't make sense, but...
