Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

What gets me is I don't send the relatives anything...I just get mysterious links to things on known questionable networks asking me to ponder or (gasp!) Comment with my thoughts. I ignore them most if the time based on the obvious baiting subject in the link, but wow. They never seem to send...

Here in NJ, you can get away with paying a server $3.13 per hour because of the possibility of making it up (or more!) in tips. Gee, why would they have a problem filling that position? General public, attitudes, exposure risk, no tip? Hmmm...

Does anyone else here get emails from their parents with links to let's say..more than likely opposite opinions on topics similar( and not ) to the subject of this thread, in attempts to rile or ask your opinion, when they already know what it is?

I am thinking another peak will happen before a month from now, but I hope not. I have marked my calendar again. Yeah, it doesn't take much to entertain me.

    DJ at MK exit

That's exactly the reason I thought when I first saw him on that.

Hi! How's that going for you? Granted, it's been a little more than a week.(August 16th when you posted) Ready to pick up?

I think a big reason a lot of people are flying off the handle is the frustration that they are being proven wrong after digging in for over a year on certain opinions. But, they can't say that, so they blow up for other possible slights.

News Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours coming for resort guests

And the ride is certainly not worth running to, especially if you've been in a car on the interstate.

Steakhouse 71 coming to Disney's Contemporary Resort along with new dining at California Grill

What if they add a DJ? It was light and airy when it was an arcade and they had a shooting gallery and a movie theater where you could see old Disney movies. There seems to be a lot of 'reimagining', but not much new. I thought it was a steakhouse before it was The Wave.

    Say NO To Genie+ PETITION

We enjoyed Maxpass at DL for IaSW and other rides, anything that had a FP line. Granted to us, IaSW is a top tier ride any time. It was a bright sunny day, so it was nice to not have to wait in line for that. To not include the top tier rides for the Genie+ add on is really sleazy. If they (ha...

    DJ at MK exit

Definitely glad and hoping that was permanently nipped in the bud. But, I would have been ticked had I paid for admission and that was the end of my night at the MK, on the last day, especially with kids. In looking at the video on the first page of the thread, I'm not sure what was worse, the...

Oh, that's right. I forgot the anything goes because it's a business excuse. I wonder what Disney artists they were playing to help sell the company music, because it's a business.

In certain parts of this country, I am sure that is considered normal behavior. Don't need no citified and educated people doctors. I'll just watch Dr. Pol. No, I won't. No cable or internet. But Jerry Springer is on. He tells it like it is.

That appears to be the only convincer for some folks. For even some more, that still doesn't do the trick. It does seem to work when someone in their 30s and 40s with families ( spouse and kids) and no previous issues with a healthy diet and impressive exercise regimen gets sick and dies within...

Disney World can Kiss my grits...

Holland America Cruises are also for the older set, FYI. But, they do formal nights nicely. On our honeymoon, we were clearly the youngest on the ship.

Disney World can Kiss my grits...

Being a huge fan of Disney and other amusement parks, to the original OP, you may really enjoy some focus on other parks with historical attractions, such as Kennywood, Knoebels, Lakeside in Colorado, Playland in NY, and even Coney Island. I don't know where you are from, but pretty much every...

Speaking of risky, Jesse Jackson is a pretty public figure. I wonder how much he and anyone else with a breakthrough symptomatic infection practiced in the way of good habits since getting the vaccine. I'm confident there are some with breakthrough cases who have thrown caution to the wind...
