Have we done this video, yet? Fight Breaks Out at Walt Disney World Ferry

I suspect you don't spend money you don't have, such as unnecessary credit card debt or using part of a home equity loan to fund a vacation.

Perhaps it's all a very cleverly orchestrated plan going the other way. The idea of reducing the population of those who don't believe in critical thinking based on proven science taught to the majority of adults when they were in middle and high school who simply believe the short term blurbs...

They are not as protected as you think. If there is a clear pattern of letting those of a certain age go, especially in a group, then yes. If they are culled from the payroll slowly enough and with varied reasons, it it very difficult to bring a case against the offending company.

I hope the dubious applications are indeed not granted. Good for that. But some really determined may find a more "friendly" clinic. Good for your leadership there.

It's funny how it all comes down to a hit in the wallet, similar to the increased medical costs some companies are doing. There's the great inconvenience and being ostracized eating in the car, but the threat of being canned for non compliance is a motivator.

It's called "At Will" employment and cooking up excuses keeps them out of any legal trouble. Independent of the vaccine situation, but now probably now including it by (ahem..cough) coincidence... It happens a lot with older employees who get put into an "improvement plan" that only 10% of...

There's no great solution to this. Those high risk mentioned above, unfortunately, may very well die from this if they are not able to isolate. They can try to minimize by wearing masks, but it's not the same as isolating, which is of course difficult for so many other reasons. The sooner the...

Always remember with the case numbers, those are only those a) have tested, and b) have been reported. Two factors needed. There are likely many with no symptoms who don't get tested. I went out to a restaurant. Our entire party was vaxxed and we didn't wear masks once seated. The waitress...

Eventually, they will, but not until this is over. When the numbers go down enough, that's when this will be over. Thanks to so many not wearing masks and those being unnecessarily antivax ( meaning no real medical issue, just "beliefs in freedom"), whether or not those are the same people...

There are a lot of people who have it, muddle through it, and don't get tested at all. There are also lot of people working from home for companies where there is no requirement to vaccinate ( WFH so no need to submit anything), or where they are only required to "attest to having no symptoms"...

I can see it now. Did you know you had covid?.........."I don't recall." Well. they said "I don't recall" under oath, so they can't be held criminally liable, your honor. [EDIT] Unless there's a legitimate medical reason and there is a vaxxine approved for one's age,, there no excuse to not...

Me: You wanna have the best people and the best service? Pay 15 plus tips. I think if there were a way to grade restaurants based on pay/benefits, people would favor patronizing those establishments that pay a living wage, or as close to a living wage as possible.

Crazy when you know people (especially relatives you've known your or their entire lives) who you thought knew better somehow seem to have no knowledge about how viruses work (you thought they learned that like you did ages ago), or have arguments that have no basis in clearly long established...

That's definitely the case in Manhattan from what I saw as far as far as shuttered stores. There's a fellow on YT that bikes around with history of inquiries including how long vacant and how no reduction of rent and even increases to make up for lost rent due to vacancy It's crazy. It's like...

    Disney After Hours BOO BASH

That is the kind of service that sets Disney apart when it's done. People going had no expectation of such a cancellation, but Disney made up for it. Bravo! It ultimately costs them not much at all the way the parks are crowded these days, but the perceived value is definite.
