Our trips are usually in January. I wish they’d do something like alternate January and February.

I haven’t seen Avatar, maybe that’d make a difference. To me it was short, had no obvious story, and only only one (albeit really good) interesting animatronic. Three Caballeros is a better boat ride.

We did the tour in February. It’s possible track construction, or Tron construction, is impacting the availability of the tour currently.

We did the tour while the trains were down. Still got to ride the train, just not the full loop. We really enjoyed it. Bonus was getting to see main street absolutely empty! We are big train fans in general so we really enjoyed it.

I’ve never been to Universal, and I can’t imagine I ever will. I do hope this puts some pressure on the mouse though.

The thing I don’t understand about the remakes is why they’re releasing them on each other’s backs - I would think they might be better received if there was some space between them. If nothing else it might keep some stink from a dud off a better film.

Exactly - if I were to drive I’d have to take two additional days of PTO too - there’s a “cost” to that as well.

They could cut prices, rebuild 20,000 leagues, Horizons, The Great Movie Ride, build Beastly Kingdom, fix the Yeti, extend the monorail to all four parks, plus springs, and add four original e-tickets to each park, and still some people would complain.

The 5th gate should be a clone of the Magic Kingdom; Close each down four months a year for refurb (alternating) and keep both open four months for crowds. (I kid, but it could work)

By that token Epcot also has Pirates of the Caribbean, it’s just called Gran Fiesta Tour. Dinosaur is a fine ride, but pals to Indy. The potential monorail reroute has me worried. As a WDW vet part of what I love about DL is how interwoven things are. I remember waiting in line at Autotopia...

God I hate to suggest this, but you could even turn TOT into Muppet Labs and have the drops be because of mishaps by Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker.
