The culture and region also matter in the vision of the park...And that part can take center stage in an attraction. Kali River Rapids for instance, has no direct animal connection. And that was a Day One attraction at AK. Indy's ride may have to do with a mythological creature from the region...

His connection would be via the culture and history of the region and preserving it. That is part of Joe Rohde's AK mission. Thats why a ride about adventurers investigating the Yeti exists in Asia. It celebrates the mythology and culture of the region.

Makes you wonder of they got the IPs wrong for each park... Guardians Cosmic Rewind would have fit in perfectly in Tomorrowland, maybe even with a a more elaborate show building exterior. Tron Coaster would have fit in better in Future World (World Discovery) as part of a Computer/Internet/AI...

You don't have to always "go underwater" when you use this ride tech.
