No. If you book your FP at 7 AM at Epcot you cannot book your next one until 1 PM (park opens at 11), at MK you cannot book one until 11 AM (park opens at 9 AM) and HS at 11 AM as well (park opens at 9 AM). The clock starts when the park opens. You do not have to be in the park however to book...

Likely? You cannot find a dining reservation 60 days out at 615 AM for Christmas week easily. I would say it's a forgone conclusion it will be no comparison between today and in a couple of months.

And you do not think this is slightly misleading for those who will be in WDW on Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years? You are basing this on a slow day and declaring Genie + a waste of money? Talk to me when Small World is 65 minutes on Christmas week. And Jungle Cruise is 85 minutes and SDMT...

I'm still going to assume its $24 or right around there for the holidays.

Does everyones Tip Board default to Animal Kingdom until you change it to a different park? That's an annoying pet peeve for me.

Our vacation always consists of a pool/resort day in the middle of the week. Spend the day at the pool and have drinks, maybe go to dinner at another resort/Disney Springs at night. It will never change. We also always slept in until about 9ish. Now that will have to change, at least a few times.

Epcot does not look like it will be a problem. I can wait until 9am. Test Track and Soarin have both had ample availability to the point you will be able to ride both since the 2nd of the 2 will be available for your 2nd LL choice. And Rwt and Frozen have yet to have no availability. The only...

I think you would be surprised how many people would like to sleep in. Not sleep half the day away but until 830 or 9. The rope drop crowd is indicative of that. If we get to the park by 11 we have 8 hours at AK, and more at the other 3. If Genie + works out well for those who like to get the...

Not to mention if you get lucky at 9 AM nd find a slot for SDD, it might be during a dining reservation because it will be that late in the day/early in the evening. Then you will not be able to "just wait" until later. SDD is the one so far that needs the 7-8 AM booking. Even FOP in AK has...

And yet the standby is only 40 minutes..so the best time to ride it standby is now.

That is also an option although might be risky the week I'll be there. With Genie + do you have to cancel first and then book it for the better availability? Or can you cancel and and re-book at the same time? I ask this because the difference in time to do that you could lose the spot.

I cannot find the link(s) but I read Disneyland you have to be in the park and WDW you do not.

Slinky again late afternoon availability and its 740am. I'll be waking up at 7am my HS day for sure and waiting to book SDD for the late afternoon and then at 11am at park arrival have be able to pick 2 and possibly 3 LLs before that time.

Exactly! And despite the issues with standby in the past, it is obvious that it would be beneficial for standby to have longer waits then LL because it will make LL more attractive. I would like to know how quick people are getting on with LL access. Is it the same, quicker or longer then it...

They might not add any more but the parks will always have 2 and they will probably swap them between Genie + tier and ILLs based on demand, etc. I can see as soon as Christmas week them switching SDD and MMRR.

Can you just link one card to the MDE app to use for all ILL's and Genie + daily purchase if needed? Is there an option once you purchase it the first time to add a card and use the same one each time?

Looks like the booking Slinky first always between 7am and 9 am (more preferable 7 am) should be anyone's first pick at HS unless they have no interest or do not go on roller coasters. Even if its choice #2 of your list of rides, it should still be #1. Book it and then you have it for later in...

Yeah, this. I have to expect that when I'm there New Years week it will be a better test for me during peak crowd levels. I am glad though it is live so I can see how it really works before my trip.

Doing this means your 2nd LL would overlap with the 1 hour window of the first LL..
