News Disney Confirms Muppets Take Over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios

Disney singlehandedly keeps the 3D parody concept relevant. So long as they continue to run shows like PhilharMagic or something in the Magic Eye Theater, the joke still works even if you're too young to remember the 3D craze. The ridiculous thing is that with the death of this and It's Tough...

News Disney Confirms Muppets Take Over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios

That stand is so generic I don't think it will be a problem, especially since they're retheming the city area into a city. Call it Monster Bites, slap a sign somewhere that says something like "special: 10% off for each head you have!" and it's good to go.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Since Muppet Vision is going, do you think they'll take down the "Salute to all cook offs but mostly barbecue" sign in Regal Eagle or will it just become another Epcot "homage" to something great we don't get to have anymore?

News MuppetVision 3-D's Future: Potential Disney Park Venues and Vision Pro Immersive Experience

A live puppet show would be very nice and I wouldn't be against it (presuming the writing was good), but I consider that a separate idea than Muppet Vision. I was commenting on the claim that they're thinking of ways to preserve Muppet Vision.

News MuppetVision 3-D's Future: Potential Disney Park Venues and Vision Pro Immersive Experience

I'm extremely confused every time I see some of these suggestions. Places like Mickey Shorts Theater have no room for any of the stuff that makes Muppet Vision great. Don't bother if they're just going to reduce it to its film elements. I believe these would also remove the hilarious preshow...

News Disney Confirms Muppets Take Over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios

There are four Disney Princess rides in the park. Three of them have drops. All of them continue with the happy go lucky perky attitude anyway. It's weird. Edit: The tamest one is the only one that lets the villain have their own scene with an appropriately dark tone.

News Disney Confirms Muppets Take Over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios

    - Take away fifteen minutes long (plus the preshow) comedy show accessible to everyone where you get to see a wide variety of characters and spend enough time with them to actually experience their personalities and enjoy them. - Instead use the IP for two minute long very intense rollercoaster...

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

They seem to really not like the idea of Tiana being in the log. All the merchandise I've seen opts for the animals (rarely including Louis) instead. It's also probably worth noting that all merchandise is nothing but smiling, happy faces for this thrill ride with a 50 foot drop. So Splash...

Walt Disney World Holiday Season 2024

I'm not expecting decorating. Last year they had Santa, the present floaties, and gingerbread decorating, though. And I could swear there was at least one more specialty food item (not the peppermint milkshake). Edit: There was also snope near the "sled shop".

Walt Disney World Holiday Season 2024

Is there nothing for Blizzard Beach this year or am I too early? They don't even have the present themed floaties and I can't imagine why they wouldn't at least have those so I'm guessing I'm too early but can't find anything about it coming up.

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

When people end up writing books on Disney park history that include this decade, I hope they don't gloss over this whole disaster. This is hilarious and future generations deserve to laugh at it.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

You could make something really cool and unique out of a rollercoaster in a universe where screaming creates energy, e.g. the thing rollercoasters need to move. Imagine if they could actually tie the speed to how much people were screaming. It doesn't need to actually be having an effect...

Walt Disney World Holiday Season 2024

I am sad to see them not finish and to hear there used to be more! I hope I can find pictures. He did! Chester and Hester's also got their normal decorations, thankfully. The only thing I noticed missing was that the Woody on the train does not have his hat and candy cane.

Walt Disney World Holiday Season 2024

Dinoland is still missing a significant amount of decorations; the trees along TriceraTop Spin and both the dinosaur and candy cane shaped lights along the road. I hope they're not done. It deserves it's full package in its last year.

    WDW Hot Takes

Disney Villains in the parks are fun as singular meeting characters (I will include parades when it's not a group float and the actors have improv room in that) and acceptable in book report rides, and nowhere else. Any time they try to incorporate them into something where they need to write...
