Avengers Campus - Reactions / Reviews

The ride system just seems like a simulator with VR headsets. Since it will entirely rely on the same kind of footage from the films, it doesn’t have much appeal to me as a non-Marvel Movie fan.

What's with the wait times!? (hint.. they're low)

It wasn’t anything that sinister... but hours were cut with things slower than expected. The parks have been running on a skeleton crew for months now. This week caught scheduling by surprise. There was no adjustments made to staffing to meet the increased demand. But it’s being corrected now...

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway - Disneyland

The construction is also impacting a lot of the pyro staging area. I’m personally surprised they’re still able to run pyro... it seems possible pyro could be relocated so the fall out area no longer impacts anything in the park.

Disneyland to unveil centralized FastPass kiosk for 3 Tomorrowland rides in pilot program - OCR/SCNG

The centralized location would have to be on the larger side, but it would be presumably in a less busy corner of the park compared to an attraction entrance. Real estate around the entrance to E Tickets is much more valuable than, say, a dead corner of Big Thunder Trail. I’d imagine moving the...

Disneyland to unveil centralized FastPass kiosk for 3 Tomorrowland rides in pilot program - OCR/SCNG

Roger Rabbit could be combined with the Fantasyland fastpass distribution. Relocating all the West side FP distributions to one spot would free up a lot of real estate. Splash Mountain would be if it from the removal of the FP dispensars; switchbacks could be moved there so the line doesn’t...

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway - Disneyland

Fun thing about the Indy queue is since the gates are useless during park hours, there exists a quirky little catwalk over the queue behind the railroad, for cast members who need the short cut. Most service roads are dead ends in Disneyland anyways. It should be fine.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway - Disneyland

Both buildings are currently a pile of rubble and yet the mountain backdrop still stands. It’s a huge chunk of real estate.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway - Disneyland

I think they can get away keeping the eateries. Some seating area will be lost to the entrance to the new ride, but they could always shuffle the restrooms to the Jolly Trolly barn, and use the gas station for additional seating. It would be pretty wasteful to get rid of a perfectly good...

    The Miscellaneous Thought Thread

Get your night rides on the Mark Twain weekdays! It’s that time of the year when Fantasmic goes dark Monday-Thursday. I’m pretty sure the final voyage departs at 8:45 pm sharp. I love Fantasmic, but it’s always nice when it’s not playing so I can experience a calm, moody evening on the Rivers...

Star Wars Rise of the Resistance Discussion

We’re hoping it’s going to be like... this: Edit: it es me off that the only video I can find of the curtain working properly (right after the Davy Jones AA) is this video with the obnoxious commentary. It’s one of my favorite moments on any attraction.

Cast my vote for the new union contract in the Lincoln Opera House, of all places. The stately decor definitely added some grandiosity to the process. The DCA voting location was just a random backstage trailer. Advantage: DL.

Redressed Midway Mania, redressed Rock’n’Roller Coaster and likely Quinjet clone.

    Tomorrowland Overhaul Speculation

It would be a huge shame if they got rid of the lagoon. And despite its terrible upkeep, the subs are still a one of a kind E ticket. It’s a very underrated attraction. I think an Avatar overlay could save it for another 20 years. Don’t overthink this Tomorrowland thing, Disney! Overlay Buzz...

News Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Disneyland opening reports/reviews

I can only imagine it’s possible to spend a day in GE without getting bored by riding a steady alcohol buzz. Which it sounds like you did.
