SPOILER: Skeleton Crew D+ Series - Debut Dec 2, 2024

I only watched the first episode so far, and I'm pleasantly surprised. I don't think the show is great, but unlike the last several Disney Star Wars shows, it isn't terrible. It seems to be an attempt to inject some fun back into the Star Wars universe. I also really like that for once in a...

Live-Action ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’

That is such a lovely song and performed beautifully. It seems to be mostly forgotten and completely underused by modern day Disney and I don't understand why.

I wonder if we'll see something like this at Aulani.

Live-Action ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’

I'm sure through self-reflection, she had a legitimate change of heart and issued her apology sincerely and completely on her own volition. Certainly, neither Disney's PR department nor her publicist influenced her in any shape or form. Just like she whole-heartedly changed her opinion on the...

Didn't all the hired writers leave? If so, you can probably toss it onto the pile of upcoming Star Wars projects that remain perpetually "in development".

Oddly enough, when I saw the picture, the first thing I thought of was one of those old hotels in Wildwood, NJ.

    General Star Wars News

George seems to be more than happy in his retirement. I doubt he's coming back in any capacity. It will never happen, but hey, if they could entice Stephen Spielberg to do a one-shot Star Wars film... From what I've seen of the Skeleton Crew previews, it looks like they are really shooting...

    General Star Wars News

Not directly Star Wars related, but did anybody see the Disney+ doc on John Williams? Pretty good stuff. I knew the guy was prolific, but I didn't realize he was THAT prolific. If you grew up in the 70s and 80s, his music was basically the soundtrack of your childhood. Hearing those trumpet...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I haven't been to Animal Kingdom in over a decade, but I remember there was a fairly large and empty shaded area near Dinosaur. It looked like an area where they planned to build more animal exhibits but ran out of time and/or money to complete.

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Yeah, if there's one thing tropical Americas lack, it's animal diversity. The region is best known for its IP synergy potential, and I, for one, am glad that Disney is mining the rich marketing potential this theme offers.

News The Walt Disney Company Board Names James P. Gorman as Chairman

Someone needs to clean house. I guess Disney is the next multinational media giant to be headed by an Australian.

I kept reading "Doors coaster" as like a Jim Morrison West Coast equivalent to Rockin' Roller Coaster. Which would fit the fast-dwindling California theme of the park. Oh, now I get what you meant...
