News EPCOT's Harmonious to be replaced with new nighttime spectacular Luminous

The only reason to dislike the show if somebody just can't stand IP. I've also heard some that thinks it's boring (paging my pal @TheMaxRebo) Doesn't matter where you stand at WS lagoon, all views are good. The show doesn't rely on projections. The pyro is next level (at least for anything...

News EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival 2025

While I don't want Epcot open 365 days with a Festival, Diet Epcot is a bit rough for my taste. I'm sure the table service restaurants enjoy the lack of booths for a change.

News New Polynesian Resort DVC villas building to open 2024

At least from the original art work, the exterior somehow is a downgrade for me. That was a pretty low bar.

    Castle Dreamlights

I think MVMCP selling out every season is a bad sign for Dreamlights to return.

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I mostly agree with you on this. Still, it seems like Indiana Jones Adventure is much more popular and liked than Dinosaur. If the new Indy ride is in the same spirit, it will be more in demand.

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

At least Encanto, Indy will draw considerable more demand than Triceratops and Dinosaur. The shine of new ToL show will help as well. They should be able to launch a nighttime show in 2027, we'll see if it's sustainable after that. I think at the very least we get an extra hour in the...

    Castle Dreamlights

They put them on the gingerbread display at the Contemporary. Not sure if it means anything besides they don’t want us to forget they existed.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

    @ToTBellHop - I thought 12/31/2025 was a decent before/after date for MV3D, but I think you’re right-might need to push that forward a season or two.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I think 2026, but would have felt more confident if it was on the blog post next to Dinosaur.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I also recall an insider here saying that Monstropolis would open with two attractions from the start. I think the concept art had us thinking “at least a playground” which was disappointing. I don’t want to lose MV3D but for a themed land with multiple attractions, this could end up being a win.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

That's a good catch and just to compare: Disney Parks Blog: "..we are having creative conversations and exploring ways to preserve the film and other parts of the experience for fans to enjoy in the future." Jim Hill: "Bringing back muppetvision into the Disney parks" First one sounds like a...

There were a quite a few projects going on in 2018-2019 including the Riveira and the skyliner. Then you know what happen in early 2020.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Sunset Showcase is the most likely candidate out of anything at the parks, but I'd just count on Disney+ honestly.

News Disney Lakeshore Lodge (Project 89 - Development near Fort Wilderness)

I think the association with be the same with the The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, so yes - legacy non-Direct DVC owners will not be able to book there.

News Disney Confirms Muppets Take Over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster at Hollywood Studios

I think Muppets at RnR is an efficient way to use the IP. It gets rid of Aerosmith (licensing costs) and is an olive branch to the Muppets fan for losing MV3D. That's the only way I look at this.
