Five Worst Attractions at the Magic Kingdom

Tiana's Bayou Adventure is one of the biggest disappointments considering the potential it had (could have been the best ride in Magic Kingdom), but objectively it's okay in and of itself. I think it still is superior to many of the rides at Magic Kingdom due to the scenery and animatronics...

Five Worst Attractions at the Magic Kingdom

I don't really dislike any of the attractions, but the most skippable would be: 1. Aladdin flying carpets (Aladdin deserves an E-ticket, not this cheap attraction) 2. Mad Tea Party (can make you nauseous) 3. Dumbo (fine, but not up to standards of classic attractions) 4. The Stich attraction 5...

Is Phase 2 of Pandora: The World of Avatar ever coming to Animal Kingdom?

One of the draws of Pandora was seeing it at night, so closing the park while it's still bright out takes away from that.

Is Phase 2 of Pandora: The World of Avatar ever coming to Animal Kingdom?

The best thing Animal Kingdom has going for it is the atmosphere as it doesn't have that many rides. The entertainment they've removed is a big part of that atmosphere. Maybe they will extend the hours and bring that stuff back once South America land opens?

Is Phase 2 of Pandora: The World of Avatar ever coming to Animal Kingdom?

I say Animal Kingdom needs to 1. Add a walkthrough attraction in Pandora with animatronic banshees 2. Add more Na'vi and animal animatronics to the Na'vi River Journey 3. Add an additional ride to Asia 4. create a new land (NOT a replacement, but a legitimate expansion) revolving around ocean...

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

Thrills aren't necessarily scary/intense. Cars is probably more of "fun thrill" in the same way that Flight of Passage is more of a fun, uplifting thrill than a "scare you to death" thrill.

How long do you think Carousel of Progress has left until its either updated or removed?

I mean the entire building needs to be knocked down and restructured so it can fit in more scenes. If that's impossible, I don't expect this ride to last 10 more years, even though I'm quite fond of it.

How long do you think Carousel of Progress has left until its either updated or removed?

If preserving Carousel of Progress is so important, they need to do massive work to extend the attraction to add 2 or more scenes so that the transition from the past to the future is less jarring. Because the attraction can't remain unaltered forever when the entire point of Tomorrowland is...

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

I think it was Maleficent. Anyway, I think it would be cool if they at least included the Hellfire tune in an instrumental loop or something.

    SPOILER: The Acolyte -- Disney+ Star Wars -- begins June 5, 2024

Oddly enough, I think James Cameron's Avatar movies are going to replace Star Wars as feeling like a "special event." Cameron isn't oversaturating the market with constant Avatar content. One movie every three years seems pretty reasonable.

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

So when I previously posted I had not actually watched the full D23 presentation video where Josh D'maro announced the villains land. But in the presentation, when the Magic Mirror cuts D'Maro off, the "hellfire" theme plays. So maybe they will acknowledge Frollo and Hunchback in the villain land?

    SPOILER: The Acolyte -- Disney+ Star Wars -- begins June 5, 2024

I strongly believe at this point that there should be no more live action Star Wars shows. They just dilute the brand, making it all feel like "content" rather than modern day mythology. They supposedly have taken break from theatrical Star Wars movies since 2019 to allow people to have the...

New Tomorrowland @ Disneyland? Is this the year it finally gets announced? No, and that’s OK

I think Alien is too scary/intense a property for Disneyland and Magic Kingdom. I think it would be better received in Hollywood Studios.

    SPOILER: The Acolyte -- Disney+ Star Wars -- begins June 5, 2024

The show was a mixed bag, but I would have had a season 2 to wrap up all the dangling loose threads. Even if most disliked the Acolypte, it's cancellation may make people hesitant to want to get invested in future Star Wars shows if there is no guarantee the stories told in the shows will be...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Oddly enough, the decline in attendance of Tom Sawyer's Island might be a good idea why NOT to dedicate an entire land to just one IP. Tom Sawyer's Island used to be very busy when the brand was more well known, but it's a total deadzone today. Themed lands like the Wizarding World of Harry...

How long do you think Carousel of Progress has left until its either updated or removed?

I love how corny and retro Carousel of Progress is. However, it seems most people who love the ride like it for the nostalgia, which is kind of the opposite of what Tomorrowland is supposed to represent (looking toward the future). I could see Disney merely updating the last scene, but I think...

Odd rumored Animal Kingdom expansion pad

Kali River Rapids is in desparate need of an overhaul. Should be greatly expanded.

Rumor Lion King Flume Ride being considered for Animal Kingdom

I think this flume isn't coming to Animal Kingdom because it would somewhat undercut Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Maybe, in retrospect, it would have been better to knock Splash Mountain to the ground and replace it with a completely different type of ride, give Tiana her own attraction in...

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

I think if Villains land is GREAT it will be worth losing Rivers of America, but if they drop the ball on Villains land (like they did with Tiana's Bayou Adventure), it will have all been for nothing.

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

I agree. D23 made me excited to go to Disneyworld and Disneyland....in 5-7 years after all of the new projects were completed. Because in the interim, it sounds like we will have an Animal Kingdom with no Dinoland, making the park feel extra small.
