Where is Something Wicked This Way Comes on D+?

TBH, none of the endings to Watcher in the Woods are good, but the one with the bad effects alien/monster is at least somewhat coherent. Watcher in the Woods has great atmosphere and mood, but isn't a great movie. Bette Davis is underused, and the lead actress is awful. However, something...

Where is Something Wicked This Way Comes on D+?

It's a pretty good movie, but it has almost completely vanished from the general pop culture consciousness. So even if it made it to the streaming service, Disney probably feels not many people would watch it. Still, it should be available for streaming somewhere.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

Oh I didn't realize Lari was an actual character. Thought he was meant to be a statue or a decoration. He looks rather sinister. Maybe they can revise the plot of the ride to make Lari the main antagonist.

    Who the heck is Lari?

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

I love the new scenes they added to Snow White. I wish we didn't lose the scenes we had from the previous version, but that could have only been fixed if they shut down the ride for a long period of time and extended the entire building.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

I would agree about Snow White being better simply because it has a stronger story and a wider range of emotions. This could be easily fixed on Tiana's Bayou Adventure, but I see them keeping the stupid "find the critters" story without any type of conflict or danger.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

I agree in theory, but the sad reality is almost no one actually goes to Tom Sawyer's island to appreciate the "exploration and surprises". It's hard to justify keeping a land — no matter how well themed — that nobody visits.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

If Disneyland got rid of Rivers of America in favor of a more modern IP, it would easily surpass the Magic Kingdom's attendance!

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

Ideally this segment is eliminated entirely from the Disneyland version, as it's the worst part of the ride. Very Disney Jr. Esque.

News New Villains Show Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Summer 2025

That's my biggest concern...if the show doesn't do AMAZING they may back out of the villains land and give us more Cars crap.

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

We finally have the trailer for Searchlight (Disney's) Nightb*tch, starring Amy Adams. I have no idea what to make of it, but it will be a tough sell for the Oscars. And I can't imagine it being a box office hit. I suspect the tone of the trailer is a bit more lighthearted than what the...

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

Tiana's Bayou Adventure has many problems (mainly a terrible story). But Tiana's appearance, weight and "attractiveness" is not one of them. The adventure outfit feels like a big departure from the movie, but she looks a lot like Tiana in the final "special spice" scene.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Can a ride lose E-ticket status over time? Decades ago, Country Bear Jamboree and It's a Small World were classified as "E-tickets and Tom Sawyer's Island and Enchanted Tiki Room were considered D tickets. Due to lower attendance and the advancement of technology I would personally place It's...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Maybe we could get a dinosaur on the Indiana Jones ride? The most recent Indiana Jones movie had a time travel element.

News Villains Land Announced for Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom

I said this earlier, but even though his movie is obscure, he could still work as a character that makes appearances around Halloween. Most people haven't seen the Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, but the Headless Horseman still makes cameos here and there. I imagine it will be a similar...

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

Does it matter if changing the name of the land was always in the cards? The Disney leadership of today is completely different from the 1980s. It's very possible that modern Disney leadership forgot the origins of the name "Critter Country" and only recently was reminded that the name of the...

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

Critter Bayou would have been better. There's nothing wrong with the word "Critter" but in the 80s the Disney company made a big deal of Critter Country being named after a Song of the South/Uncle Remus quote so I imagine that's part of why the name of the land itself is changing. They also...

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Raya could definitely fit in Animal Kingdom if the focus was on the dragons (a dragon remains at the center of the animal kingdom logo!). Turning Red, not so much, as the Pandas are really just humans.

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

The complaints about Dr. Facillier being absent on TBA have more to do with the ride's story being very boring and feeling like he would add much needed excitement. I think it's possible to have a fun Encanto ride without Bruno.
