WDI integration with DCP announced today

If they were making anything of value or unique, maybe it wouldn't be...I can go to my local Disney Store and buy a decent amount of the rubbish sold at the parks now. I hate seeing "Disney Store" branded at the parks... I hope this goes in the right direction of where things were 1+ decade(s)...

News Pirates of the Caribbean closing for refurbishment in February for new auction scene

I am usually in the same spot as you...but I don't think this is a small change- regardless of the change, it changes the feel of the ride- a small change was changing some of the dialog in the first scene with the Mayor but keeping everything else intact. This they changes most characters, all...

News bye bye bugs: Marvel Land announced, opens 2020

Well this is interesting. I'll be honest, i'm a little sad I won't be able to say goodbye to Bugs Land before our visit in September...but it should be really good and i'm excited to see what they do! Now to tear apart that poster looking for hints :)

News Pirates of the Caribbean closing for refurbishment in February for new auction scene

Are we in a society where we can leave implications? I'll be honest- i've been on that ride so many times and never once noticed what she was carrying. I'm not saying change it, i'm just curious :) Great...now I have to look at pictures to see how I could have missed this! :)

News Pirates of the Caribbean closing for refurbishment in February for new auction scene

I'm curious if the update in Disneyland will also include the lady being chased being updated to reflect the same as the WDW version...

News Pirates of the Caribbean closing for refurbishment in February for new auction scene

i'm kind of torn without seeing it in person- first, the scene looks largely broken except for the redhead and the auctioneer- there are so many people/objects that don't seem to move. The lines feel very simplified, almost child like now. They are fighting over hens that lay eggs...and she...

Rumor Pixar's Coco coming to the Mexico Pavilion

That makes me really sad. I love the three amigos, but I thought Coco would have been a perfect fit for the land and attraction :(

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

I can't find how much the estimate is per night so thoughts will change.... But if it's the same price as the parks, I see this being the exact same as Disneyland- if you don't have the AP that gives free parking (at least for the parks) or are not using DVC points on a room, there is a nightly...

News Paradise Pier Becoming Pixar Pier

Is this real? If so, perhaps these are the "critters" from Woody's Roundup that Jessie and Woody converse with and play with (in Toy Story 2).

News Announced: Mary Poppins Attraction in UK Pavilion

I completely agree with you that there is nothing representing your country. It seems more expected that UK is mainly England and not the other 3 countries. I think a Brave attraction would be wonderful (or at least some meet n greets with various Brave characters). I am a huge MP fan and...

    Disneyland Calendar Update

Last year we had the same issue in September, but the closer it got, the more they added (about 3 weeks out). Frozen and Magical Map weren't scheduled at all, but in the end, there was only 1 day they were scheduled. I would wait a little longer to see what happens- with you going over the...

Enhanced Dining Experience Coming to Be Our Guest Restaurant

I'm curious about this now. I've been to BoG 2 times for dinner- the first 4 days after it opened and the second a few years later...after that second time, i've been skipping it since it felt cheaper and less fancy. However, this menu reminds me a tiny bit of some of the dishes from Disney...

    Stateroom in front of elevators?

Almost all of our trips have been right by the elevators. This last cruise on the Magic we were next to the midship elevator bank and 1 floor below the kids club- we were wondering if that would cause more traffic- it did not. The only time i've really ever heard people was our first time on the...

Wedding inside Disneyland Last Night 2/8/18

I got married at Disneyland 2.5 years ago and had the option for a wedding inside Disneyland itself. The price is laughable. The pricing for an evening wedding starts at $100k-$125k, depending on the time of year. This base price includes the ceremony, transportation for guest to/from Town...

Magic vs Dream? Oceanview vs Veranda?

We just got off the Magic and have done the Dream several times. The Toy Story area of the kids space is bar far better on the Magic than the Dream (at least to us adults). They don't have Star Wars, but they have a smaller section of Marvel. The adult section is not as secluded on the Magic...

Palo brunch on 5 night cruise

I think I read where someone answered, but we were out of Miami, went to Key West, Nassau then CC. I would have rather had the Dream's Nassau, CC and sea, but we had a friend that was worried about sea sickness (and 10% of me wanted to complete our grand slam earlier than June!)

Palo brunch on 5 night cruise

We just got off a 4 night sailing on the Magic with no sea days- it was only available 1 day to us. I think it depends on the cruise itinerary and the ship. For a 5 night, I would expect 2 days (but could be wrong).

    Info About Phantom Manor?

Thanks for saying this! This has actually been one of the biggest things on my mind (knowing the shape of the park). This makes me more excited to go in May :) I'm sad that the park ever had to get to that point...

    Weekdays vs. Weekends

I am going to be there Saturday-Thursday. Do you have 2 days you would recommend going to DLP? We leave Thursday for Barcelona and are wanting to go to DLP for 2 days (27 May-31 May).

    Info About Phantom Manor?

I haven't been following DLP as much as others. It's sad that an attraction would need that much work from neglect, but i'm glad it's getting attention with the other parts of the park!
