News Talking Mickey to leave Magic Kingdom

Is it definitely stopping? Anyone know why for sure? There’s some guy who works with Disney on interaction from a university on a forum (he’s legit he is on LinkedIn) who says he advised on this and he’d be surprised it was going, especially as they rolled out the other test characters in DL...

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

Of course. But come to Yorkshire, we are friendlier here than those folks in London and the South. And we have the best fish and chips at Whitby in the world.

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

Yes official price is £369 ($1.4 to the £ at the moment - it was even cheaper in dollars at $1.20s until recently), but I got mine from an official seller last week at £345. They also threw in free GatorLand tickets (the seller not Disney).

$484 is just for the 14 day super dooper ticket, not the hotel etc.

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

This is correct no charge for UK package visitors until 2020. And we get special 14 days tickets with park hopping, water parks, golf, memory maker for $484 (when slightly discounted via UK ticket retailers). Disney UK have also been giving hefty discounts at Old Key West and Saratoga (sometimes...

Old Key West different expiration dates....

If it were me, I’d refuse to sign any waivers/ ‘quitclaim’. Whether this is correct or not I’m not sure but suspect it is, I’ve seen it reported that all contracts actually reverted to 2057 when they extended. Some have refused to sign Disney’s form agreeing you’ll give it up, and even got...

    Rent out your DVC points?

Used David’s. No issues whatsoever and very very quick (all my points were gone in a day or so).

Epcot Freestanding Snack Carts Selling Miller Lite and Coors Lite Instead of Bud Light.

I hope Yeunglings is not affected. We can't get that in UK and it's almost worth the $8 ($9) exhorbitant price.

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

No it's 'free' to anyone staying on points. Not out of generosity, but legality. Those points had dues paid on them which pay for car park and security. The points give access to the common areas. This is the only reason DVC don't get charged, but if you have a car you now get an additional...

Confirmed: Disney Parks Investor Waleed Bin Talal Arrested

Ha ha, this is one of the richest men in the world. He bought and fitted out one of those new 2 story Airbus mega planes for his own personal use, until he decided it was too over the top for him and so stuck with his Jumbo with gold throne. Do you really believe he lives or lived in Golden...

Yeah flights in school vacation time for 4, are a minimum of $4k. I've been to Tenessee (been to 20 states and doing a few more this summer), loved it there up in the Smokies. Stayed in a nice cabin. Loved going up to that waterfall where you walk behind. You're close to Carolinas, love Hilton...

Very true. You also obviously live closer, I'm in UK so couldn't attend the events etc. The one the other night looked fantastic on The Tim Tracker YouTube. I really wish I was in driving distance, albeit I'd need a lot more points!

Hi. I think the Disney Cruise looks really good but haven't been on it yet. When I say waste of points, I mean the value of using points for the cruise is terrible, you are much better renting and using cash to book instead. Is it an investment? Possibly, but if you are going to spend cash on...

    DVC

Hi, your DVC rep hasn't been entirely accurate to say the least. If you want a sold out resort insist and they will sell. If you go on the Orange County comptrollers website and put in a search on the deeds for Disney Vacation Developments you will see they are constantly selling older resorts...

Sorry I do not really understand your reply. You pay dues on any contract, direct or resale. Direct prices are generally MUCH more expensive than resale, for exactly the same contract. The extra perks you get from buying a direct contract are limited, some dining, merchandise and annual pass...
