    FastPass+ during 24 hour event

That's exactly what I'm saying. Last year, though, the app would show FastPass times as (example) 11am, 2pm, and 4am, some people getting date markers and some not. Well, obviously the 2am one is on a different date, but some thought it was either eating into their next day's selections (because...

To link or not to link our teenager's MDE account

Link the teen's account fully. There is no reason not to, and if they have a smartphone, you'll appreciate it when you're there. Trust me.

    FastPass+ during 24 hour event

They are handled the same way as they usually are. Only difference being that your FastPass+ time will be date specific if you have selections for the 6 hours the park is open after midnight, which last year showed up strangely in the app but a CM friend of mine in MyMagic+ support says that has...

MagicBands to be used in place of parking permit paperwork for resort guests

Yeah, I think the only way that RCID has been allowed to continue the way it has without the whole EPCOT plan going through is that it's mutually beneficial for all parties involved, and Disney isn't totally autonomous in terms of law enforcement and other things that a private company probably...

MagicBands to be used in place of parking permit paperwork for resort guests

You know what instructions are needed in the case of a wristband that does everything? You just say "It does everything." They've had all of this (minus FastPass+ and parking) in the Key to the World card for years already, and the MagicBand hasn't been a concept that's difficult to grasp for...

Is the clock ticking on the Sorcerer Mickey Hat icon at the Studios? YES!

Any news to report on the dress selection? Oh, wait... That's odd for it to just say Center Stage with no changes to the map graphics. To me it just looks like that's what they've titled that hub area of the park now, and if that's the case, I love it.

    New DME departure protocol

Just an aside, a thought that your post comparing the two provoked. I feel like MCO is a fairly well designed airport, for one of its larger size and considerable status as a hub for travel and conventions. The fact that I can move around so quickly in the airport, and get from level one to...

Disney to trial transportation between Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach for new water park hopper

I've always wondered why they didn't do this. You could effectively do it already with Water Park Fun and More or, as we have, Premium AP. When we've hit both water parks in one day, getting from one to the other without a car was a major pain. I really hope this option sticks, both for...

    New DME departure protocol

The driver also shouldn't have been vocally negative about a policy change, regardless of how much he didn't like it. That just makes the departure experience negative for the guests, most of whom, as pointed out, wouldn't have known the difference and expected to be dropped off at the MDE...

New Main Street U.S.A bypass to be built to address entry and exit congestion at the Magic Kingdom

Hmm, don't they tend to call sightline problems "Visual Intrusions" in permits/NOCs? I remember that wording from some New Fantasyland stuff with sightline fixes around Gaston's/Mermaid. Maybe they're fixing that horrendous mess of visible backstage space over in that area - I sure hope so!

Is the clock ticking on the Sorcerer Mickey Hat icon at the Studios? YES!

Innovative maybe, it was paint and inflatables. Fancy paint and inflatables I'm sure. Appropriate can be debated, given the backlash. But aside from that, Disney already did the gold castle thing for the Disneyland 50th, this is the Diamond Anniversary - I'm hoping for some serious sparkle and...

Is the clock ticking on the Sorcerer Mickey Hat icon at the Studios? YES!

I wonder if @wdwmagic could pull some analytics magic with the stats about this thread? For example, just how much is it being watched and at what times of day, compared to other threads.

My reference to the post directly previous to my own (that you quoted) seems to have went right over your head.

Soarin' Expansion and new Soarin' Around the World film

Soaring is such an awkward word to read and say when it's in this context, for some reason...

Is the clock ticking on the Sorcerer Mickey Hat icon at the Studios? YES!

The Matterhorn was not in the original plans for Disneyland (nor was it even there until 1959), and it's fairly clear that Sleeping Beauty Castle was intended to be more than just a marketing ploy if Walt placed it at the center of his park. Not saying it wasn't a marketing ploy - Disneyland...

    Coffee in WDW

There are Joffrey's kiosks scattered throughout the parks both inside the gates and right outside by the ticket booths, and from my experience, they are not too bad. They carry a range of pastries and espresso beverages, as well as the basic cup. Joffrey's has had a presence in WDW for years...

L’Artisan des Glaces' Strawberry & Cream Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich

The holiday season flavors are divine. Pumpkin spice in the Fall, and Peppermint just in time for Christmas. I love how bright they make the colors, and how everything is natural and just plain good.

Is the clock ticking on the Sorcerer Mickey Hat icon at the Studios? YES!

The functioning studio aspect was actually dying years before the Hat was installed, and the BAH was installed well before the dropping of MGM from the park's name. BAH was 2001, name change was in 2008. The name change was for the better, in my opinion, but that can be debated. The theater is a...

PHOTOS - Sunset Ranch Pins and Souvenirs opens at Disney's Hollywood Studios

They'll probably have that opportunity when PH is gone from Disney Springs a little ways from now...I wouldn't imagine the offshoot souvenir store at DHS will be there much longer if there is no PH restaurant on property.

Main Street U.S.A. hub redevelopment at the Magic Kingdom

They are also replacing all of the red concrete with more natural looking from what I understand, so the walls around Partners may be for that purpose. Refreshing that area some while they do the rest.
