    Lightning Lane prices?

Thank you! That's very helpful. Thanks, though what is the Tip board? Yes, I know they vary, but the variations I've seen have been similar.

Disney forcing us to $pend even more at their re$ort$

I live in York, ME and enjoyed reading your post. :) I also love Vermont in the Winter. In terms of this poll, I voted paid fast passes. They used to be free, and my family used them all day long to avoid all long lines. It was great. Now my family of 4 will be spending around $1000 on our next...

All the changes at WDW. What's the effect on you?

What gets us is the added fees: paid fast passes, paid transportation to/from airport, paid parking, paid magic bands, no free dining, no room discounts. On our last trip we didn't have to pay for any of that, and for our next trip we are paying for all of that. Recently my husband and kids said...

    Lightning Lane prices?

Hi, does anyone have an actual price list for the paid lightning lane rides? The official website only gives a few prices and isn't too helpful. I'd love to see the range of prices for each ride so I know how much to budget for our trip. We have 4 people, and it adds up. Thanks if anyone has...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

I disagree. With coronavirus the responsible action is to test any time your child has symptoms. I did a few weeks ago when my son woke up with lots of mucous. He was fine otherwise, but this was unusual for him, so we didn't go to soccer, and I knew not to send both my kids to school until he...

I hope that gets approved soon, because according to this new research I'm due for my second dose in October.

    Are you buying Genie+

We might not be going due to paid fast pass, but if we do decide to go we will pay for it. My young kids cannot handle waiting in long lines.

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

My local amusement parks don't have 1-3 hour lines. Most rides are walk on to 30 minutes. So it's easy to have a good day without paying to skip the lines.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Not all kids wear cloth masks. There are many kinds that offer more protection. My kids wear Happy Masks which are lab tested to be the equivalent of N99 masks. They fit my kids just fine, my kids don't fuss with them, and they are happy to wear them. I was a preschool teacher pre-covid, and my...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

I feel so bad for the innocent children and adults doing the right thing in Florida who are suffering right now. :( I am so glad my family lives in New England, and that both my children's schools are requiring masks this year.

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

That's interesting. My brother and I weren't offered that vaccine as children. We both got chicken pox in 1992. I woke up with them on my 7th birthday. My brother was 3 and got them first, then passed them to me. I remember learning about the vaccine when I was a little older.

News Disney's Magical Express to end after 2021

Well it's an extra $120 for my family that we didn't have to pay before... Also the cheaper option says you will get a bus or van. Young kids can go without a car seat in a bus but not on a van. So this presents a problem unless the company guarantees we can ride in a bus.

People who don't get the vaccine (unless they have a valid medical reason not to) deserve to be shamed and made to feel guilty. They are ruining this for everyone.

If you could design the Disney dining plan-what changes would you make?

3 meals (1 table service and 2 quick service) and 2 snacks a day. I don't care if drinks, appetizers, and desserts are involved. Maybe 1 dessert. And I'd bring back free dining!!!

We did the same thing. We cancelled our Disney trip this year and instead spent a week in NH doing outdoor activities. We put money into NH's economy by paying for our hotel, meals, and activities.

Um... you're the one who sounds like a Karen, complaining about wearing a piece of cloth on your face that protects yourself and others. It's really not a big deal. And I'm scared because my young children cannot get a vaccine yet. And we do stay home! But soon they need to go back to school.

We can buy time for children to be eligible for the vaccine. It's not fair to them to force them to go to school and out in the world unprotected.

Cast Member Pay & Labor Laws

You don't think preschool teachers deserve to make a living wage? Who do you want teaching and caring for young children? I shouldn't have to leave a job i love, am good at, and is beneficial to my community because the pay is so low. The pay should be raised. My husband should be able to work...

Cast Member Pay & Labor Laws

Yeah take my old preschool teacher job (what I did before the pandemic). I made $14 an hour with a bachelor's degree from a top liberal arts college plus certification to teach preschool. I didn't feel comfortable working this job during the pandemic or sending my kids to school before vaccines...

Frozen in Norway: Am I the only one who doesn't mind?

I like it. The Norway ride was ok. Really the best part was the little drop in the ride track. I have no interest in Norway's history, and I would only reride for the drop. But the Frozen ride is entertaining. My family loves that movie. My favorite part is when you see Elsa, and you start going...
