Since we spent the remainder of the day at urgent care ( all but 2hrs ) we asked at concierge and they were nice enough to give us an extra day at the parks. Class act.

You can see quite a bit of the construction from the bridge between dinoland and discovery island. Looks like the viewing area has plastic pipes in place between the viewing sections. Either for lighting or to protect/encase concrete since its a damp location?

For the floating mountains, they may also utilize a concrete tilt up or concrete with embedded steel construction method. In those cases, the rock work might bolt together in a relatively quick fashion. I can't see cast in place used for this size and detail.

There are also areas between the rainforest cafe and the park where you can see directly in to the construction parking lot. I didn't go closer because I didn't want to disturb vegetation to get a good picture. Separately, they sure are working on rivers of light during the daytime. Kinda loud...

I'm at pop century right now and the redemption desk is still there. Talked with the attendant and they were told they're out by the 15th of February, but it could occur before then. All 6 arcades will be cleared by then. So it's a craps shoot till then.

I think the ability to review your bill on the go should be a feature added to the 'My Disney Experience' app. Then again, if checking your balance is easy enough, perhaps people won't be letting go of their money as easily.

The paths have to be right sized for the situation. No reason to build a 6 lane highway when a gravel road will do.
