I agree the first day at Ohana with a later Dining Reservation would be best, especially since you will be staying at that resort, tired from your travels, and also not going into the parks that day as well.

Ohana at the Polynesian tops my list, but we also love our DVC home resort restaurant of Olivia's.

My Husband and Son are both just over 6 feet tall and they were comfortable. I think they will enjoy the experience.

POR food court is outstanding and the resort itself is beautiful. I do prefer the pool at French Quarters better though. I haven't stayed at either resort in some time, but I think either would be enjoyable.

I haven't stayed in the resorts in awhile, but when I did I enjoyed both. POR had some extra perks though. It has in my opinion the best food court of all the resorts. I also enjoyed the pool very much.
