The other two times we went to WDW in recent years, we checked our bags at the hotel on our way home. For this, we were told to be there approximately 3 hours before our flight departs to check our bags and get on the bus. Will we still be told to be on the bus approximately 3 hours before...

If we fly on Frontier Airlines, I believe they are not a participating airline when it comes to baggage. But can we still take the bus to and from the resort? (Obviously we'd just get our bags ourselves as well and bring them with us to check in at the airport on the way home.)

For us, we like to do 7-day park hopper tickets. I find that's plenty of time to see everything we want to see. This is what we did last time - One of the days in the middle we had a "rest" day. It's not really a day to rest though. We slept in. Ate breakfast at the hotel. Wandered...

We're thinking for early February (4th-11th.) I hope that's not an expensive time and not super crowded. Normally we go in late January and the crowds are pretty low. Still waiting to hear if there are any deals for February though.

We haven't booked anything yet. But based on the dates we'll probably go, we have 200 days until we're there!

I'm a big Port Orleans Riverside (Alligator Bayou section) fan. It was quiet and I just thought the area was gorgeous.

Thanks, everyone. I think $1414 is still pretty good for 2 adults, 7 nights (value hotel), and 7-day park hoppers. But of course, I liked $1212 in 2010 much better. :) I'll be waiting until probably September or so to book so maybe something will show up by then.

If you book a package and then a month later, a deal is released...can you call and change your room/tickets to get the deal if it costs less? Right now, what I'm looking at is about $1414. The exact thing cost $1212 in 2010. I know it's two years later...but I was really hoping to find it...

It's so strange to me that so many people mentioned the Contemporary. I've never stayed there (never will) but based on pictures of resort grounds/rooms...it's easily my LEAST favorite. I just think it's so ugly. And not Disney-like at all to me.
