Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

That part has bothered me as it's standard now for almost all parks. What's brothered me is charging for a crappy system. Simplify it and make it easy to use. None of this pre-booking return time nonsense.

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

That's crazy. At least for us, if we aren going to upwards of $50 or higher, make it easier to use and remove return times, and advanced booking.

Rumor Disney resort of some kind in Texas?

Agreed. It makes sense for why so many Disney fans look down on other parks. They aren't into thrills

New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

Yet other parks do the same thing and no one says anything. Yet cause its Disney, they need to be better than everyone else.

Rumor Disney resort of some kind in Texas?

If I'm Busch Gardens or Six Flags I'm against it. It would cannibalize the attendance of Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens Williamsburg. I know most of you don't care but I don't want to see those parks hurt by the Mouse.

Cedar Point getting US first Tilt Coaster

This will be the parks 18th coaster and makes 3 years in a row with a new coaster.

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

Same. iMO WDW has few attractions that I would ride more than twice a visit.

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

@GoofGoof said it best. Maybe ride warrior is a better term. Someone who does 20 or more attractions each day. Riding things multiple times. Most do more than 3 attractions but I would bet the majority only use their 3 prebooks and probably do some 3-5 other attractions with short waits...

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

It's not quite the same. You can rope drop the park and stay to close and ride hardly anything and be a park commando. Ride people are those that go from one ride to the next with a stop for food in between. Something you see guests who visit Kings Island who marathon rides all day. Similar to...

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

There is a difference between park commando and ride people. In my view ride people don't do shows, parades, fireworks or do the festivals. Ride people are the type of guest you see at the regional parks. Ones that just ride rides all day and nothing else.

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

I'm basing it off the many different posts I've seen across different threads that talk these systems. I can't count the number of times I have seen different posters mention how they book their 3 LL for the morning, ride a few other attractions and leave by noon for a break. Head back to the...

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

I do agree that it should be done. There is a few problems with doing it. One being those families like @Chi84 who have multiple generations visit at a time would most likely stop going as they like having short waits for a few attractions. The biggest one stems from the fact the Majority of...

    Universal UK?

I know theming wise those parks are not even close to the same level. I don't expect that from those parks. What they offer is a decent alternative. It has always bugged me how many dismiss those parks and act like nobody visits them.

    Universal UK?

I know they aren't heavily themed but they still have great rides. It's funny how parks are viewed by different communities. Watching different vloggers that visit these parks and they show them in a different light. Watching those videos shows families having fun times and loving the parks...

    Universal UK?

Poor quality? Thorpe park and Alton Towers are two of the best European parks out there.

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

I agree. IMO it comes down to mindset. Going all the way back to the original Fast pass, it's been engrained into the guests head that to enjoy the parks you need a skip the line pass. If they implemented this system and scrapped LLMP, I think guests would eventually accept that waiting in...

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

That makes sense. It's no wonder the current system is so liked. Many guests are like your family. They don't go to Disney for attractions necessarily. They go there for the experience and atmosphere.
  18. Jrb1979

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

I'm still surprised that the majority of guests are happy with 3 short waits a day. Why wouldn't you want to pay more for having access to all rides when you want without a schedule

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

It's also proof they don't have enough capacity for it to work.

Rumor WDW is considering a Universal-like Express Pass

Shocking. Nobody saw that coming. 🙄. Funny how the same thing happened with FP+ but many didn't bat an eye. Now you have to pay for it and people are angered. If they go to this system it might actually work. Guests will have to accept that standby is the norm.
