Due to the issues around keeping whales in captivity they have to abandon their old identity. Seaworld can't compete with Disney & Universal for immersion, so why not offer something no other park in Florida can offer?

I don’t know, but don’t forget that GayDays has been running at the Magic Kingdom for 31 years. A group of people turning up wearing red shirts in your park all on the same day will help go someway to getting things noticed.

WDW uses NFC not barcodes. So instead of bringing up the barcode and scanning, you need to bring up the right ticket, tap it, get the next ticket, tap and so on. Not sure if it takes much longer or not, but it is different.

Think you could get them reactivated but the price is the same, don't think there is a discount for bringing back mugs for re-activation. They are valid for length-of-stay so if your stay is more than 14 nights they will reactivate, but a new stay means paying again.
