News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

If they create a mini New Orleans Square around Tiana's Bayou Adventure, the mural can fit just fine. But it will take them 7 years or so to convert old buildings to a new look and building a couple of new ones.

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

I hope they keep this out of the Disneyland version. It's just ugly.

News New Haunted Mansion Grounds Expansion, Retail Shop Coming to Disneyland Resort in 2024

The greenhouse portion of the queue reminds me of Harry Potter's Forbidden Journey queue through and under an old, elegant, and massive greenhouse.

News New Haunted Mansion Grounds Expansion, Retail Shop Coming to Disneyland Resort in 2024

Yes, but maybe the walk around the bend will feel more cohesive? There's no understanding the Walt Disney Company these days, so who knows what the reasoning is.

News New Haunted Mansion Grounds Expansion, Retail Shop Coming to Disneyland Resort in 2024

Looks like the retail shop is designed to be a bridge of sorts in style between the Haunted Mansion and the look of the queue buildings for Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

    The Miscellaneous Thought Thread

Agreed. Epcot is the worst of all Disney parks in this regard. As far as pushing each holiday so early, I think Disney is banking on the fact people are always needing to celebrate something to break them out of the monotony of life. And satisfy short attention spans for a profit.

Rome the Treehouse? Never. I hope it never happens.

Zach Riddley promoted to Global Creative Strategy Executive

I'm thinking he had no control over whether IP was to be included or which IP was to be included. I may be wrong on that. I truly do not know. But the IP infusion is, in my mind, the main issue that removes the intent of EPCOT Center away from the current park.

Zach Riddley promoted to Global Creative Strategy Executive

My bet is Zach got the project but had little control of the attraction content or placement. Perhaps he influenced the finishes of things like the cafe.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

I'll definitely miss the original Splash music. I hope the new original stuff is joyous like ZADDD. The last time I HAD to get to Disneyland for a ride opening was Indy. And in a pretty miraculous way, I ended up there opening weekend when my company, AT&T, awarded me a prize as a Top 100...

News Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge - Historical Construction/Impressions

I've seen a handful of the movies, but I'm not a mega-fan. For the folks like me, bring in any characters from any of the films (except that Jar-Jar Binks), and I'll be happy. The land needs all the signs of life it can get.

News Zootopia and Moana Blue Sky concepts for Disney's Animal Kingdom

If Disney destroys Dinosaur, they'll have effectively turned over and admitted defeat to Universal regarding the prehistoric realm of animals.

While I find the direction of new EPCOT and many elements not to my liking, I do think Zach has a real love for the park.

Yes Miss This is France 🇫🇷! June 18-July 1, 2023 (Disneyland Paris and other parts of France)

My understanding is the inside of Sacre Cour is the only cathedral in Paris that represents the Risen Jesus. All others show him hanging on the cross after his crucifixion. Anyone know if this is true? LOVE the Montmartre photos. I'll be there soon myself! :)
