How long before you have to get out of the park

Three weeks ago in Epcot we got on Soarin' for the last ride of the night, which was about 9:20 (fun fact - they let us ride it twice because they had three people who still hadn't ridden and a ton of empty seats!). Made our way over to the big shop, and shopped for a WHILE. Then as we were...

    10 years without any wonders

That's a fabulous idea! Cranium Command was sort of like that anyway! I miss WOL. I used to spend HOURS in there, between the rides, the shows and the activities. Body Wars always made me want to puke, I always thought it was because I was inside blood, and blood makes me want to puke...

Booking Dinners for Our Trip to WDW in August, Need Some Advice

My mom is 69 and she literally RAN with me across Epcot (from Norway to The Land) so we could make it to the last ride of Soarin' at 9pm :-) Don't count your parents out!

    Pop Century Room Rehab

I was just there two weeks ago, also in the 60's preferred rooms, and ours were still the same rooms. No refurb. A murphy bed would have been great though. Getting in and out of those rooms with a stroller is next to impossible with the beds being so close to the door. Would have been nice to...

    Scariest Disney Attraction?

The original Alien Encounter was horrifying, so glad it's gone. My current scariest is Tower of Terror because it combines the horror movie scary with the thrill ride scary. Most of my family doesn't do scary rides so I end up on them alone, and Tower of terror is the only one I won't do...

Tiana's Riverboat Party with Festival of Fantasy Parade viewing coming soon

Lots of shade, the boat has different levels and indoors. We were freezing so we watched the parade from up top in the sun but the dance party was on the middle level. We had no idea this was even a thing, we just happened to walk by at the right time. If they advertised it more they would...

    Getting to breakfast's from Pop

I haven't done it at WDW but I was talking to someone in line behind me this past weekend and she said she was doing it everywhere, even to the parks, to avoid buses. She said no trip had cost her more than $7 the whole time she was there. And that's per car, not per person. So, not bad!

    Getting to breakfast's from Pop

That's how I've always done it, but now you can get an uber to take you directly as well. As far as which park, I would aim for Epcot since that's the closest to the restaurant. But MK would be fine too. AK and HS would be closer to Pop though, so you'd save time on that end. I'd just pick...

    RNR vs. Everest

I like EE better because I'm a bit claustrophobic and the darkness + loud music gives me a little anxiety. But it's totally a personal choice!

Tiana's Riverboat Party with Festival of Fantasy Parade viewing coming soon

I know this is an old thread but I just got back from WDW and went on this so I thought I would share my experience. I had no idea this existed until we were walking by and saw the "reservations available" sign. Initially when we heard the price, we were going to pass (it was my mom and...

    December or January Crowds?

We were there for pro-bowl weekend but it was really not crowded at all! We were even in MK the day of the pro-bowl parade (accidentally - we didn't know it was happening) and there was nothing out of the ordinary with the crowds. We did everything we wanted to do and waited on minimal lines...

    Toddler area in HS?

OMG it was raining when we were in DHS last weekend so I didn't even realize HiSTK is gone. Aw, my girls will be so bummed to hear that! They loved it in there!

If you only had one day in one park...

I think option 3 sounds fun - otherwise you'd be too rushed trying to cram it all in in one day. Or I'd just do a full day at Epcot and spend lots of time in the countries.

    December or January Crowds?

December will be busy and the closer you get to Christmas, the worse it will be. January is the best month to go, as long as it's not MLK weekend. The least amount of crowds and prices are lower as well :) For my most recent trip, we literally called and said "tell us the cheapest weekend we...
