    Rumor Toy Story friends makeover

    I'm glad someone caught on.

Are costumed characters about to go the way of the dodo?

Oh, I'm sure they can get creative. They already stopped maintaining the popcorn lights on the Grand Floridian roofline. Maybe Main Street will be next.

Are costumed characters about to go the way of the dodo?

This would in no way be cutting costs. Live walk-around characters are still the cheapest option.

    NBA Experience at Disney Springs

Except it was a Disney-operated facility so Disney might still be paying NBA.

Will their definitely not be a Indiana Jones land at DHS with the stunt show coming back?

I'm pretty sure it's too early to consider this project dead. Minor updates to a 32 year old stunt show doesn't mean much. I'm fairly certain, however, that all additions/expansions in the parks that didn't start before the pandemic are still on hold indefinitely. Tomorrowland was next to get...

    Rumor Toy Story friends makeover

Well... at Walt Disney World, "You've got an Adventure Friend in me." 😉

The World's Most Magical Celebration - Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary

I'm not saying the whole project is based around it. I AM saying that I expect the new statues in the HUB to be a permanent replacement to what is there and a clever way of removing Br'er Rabbit without that character being singled out. The fact that these "Additions" will draw less attention to...

The World's Most Magical Celebration - Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary

They appear to be the same size as the current Hub statues that have existed now for decades, I believe. I think this is a low-key way of eliminating the Br'er Rabbit statue without drawing attention to its removal.

    News Tomorrowland love

I wholly disagree. That puke orange was absolutely terrible and did not look natural to me. The metallic blue kind of gives me crystal or ore vibes. It also fits the overall color scheme of the current Tomorrowland much better and compliments the other colors visible in the hub. I appreciate...

The World's Most Magical Celebration - Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary

I'm not sure if the lasers are powerful enough to burn skin considering they don't scorch the paint on the castle. However, you are correct that there is a certain focus height tolerance that exists. It's typically more to ensure that the lasers never point to a human eye. In the VoLM theater...

The World's Most Magical Celebration - Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary

While RoE was my favorite fireworks spectacular, Fant! will always be my favorite way to end a day at Disney. Most likely, but that's just the both of us taking an educated guess. I honestly Don't know how to answer this because "phase 2" is an unintentional product of the pandemic. To the...

The World's Most Magical Celebration - Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary

Sorry for the long multi-quote. I had a lot of catching up to do. Christmas decorating has never started at Magic Kingdom before the final Halloween event, so that is not an issue. The bigger issue is that the first Christmas FoF was running, they tore apart the garlands and hung the...

Journey of Water featuring Moana coming to Epcot

No. You didn't. No lift and no launch. There's a drop, a ton of friction-drive tires that move you along the track much like the old Disneyland Peoplemover, a few motion bases, switch tracks, and some brakes.

Journey of Water featuring Moana coming to Epcot

Except it's not launched and has almost no gravity-powered acceleration, so the Guardians system is unique.

Villains Village by Wow Factor - Blue Sky Project

I just found this and hate how much I love it. This is a really cool concept. I like that you're playing up the Villians through their own eyes, not as evil beings. That's a big deal for those characters and is how I always try to view them. As much as I love your Hell Hall idea, this would be...

Rumor Muppets to Take Over The Hall of Presidents

I'm pretty sure that approach has been considered. A change like that would likely have to take place a few years into a president's term and be publicized as a "new show." If not handled correctly, it would be viewed as if it had political intent. Somehow it would be twisted into a narrative...

Rumor Muppets to Take Over The Hall of Presidents

Exactly. As much as I respect this attraction, its origin, and its intent, the fact is that it still conjures up political thoughts. With the country currently as passionately divided as it over government, this attraction faces a very challenging issue - How to portray politicians without...

News Splash Mountain retheme to Princess and the Frog - Tiana's Bayou Adventure

Honestly, I hope it is. Ever since Disney first announced this reskin all I could think about is how I hope the lift is made into a "Friends on the Other Side" scene, ending in Dr. Facilier's demise. As unhappy as I am about this reskin and as much as I don't respect their timing in announcing...
