Avengers Campus: E-Watch! (Waiting on the new ride)

It'll be especially ironic given that Uni will have already evolved that ride systen with Epic's Ministry ride by the time Avengers opens.

If I remember correctly the real line went "getting caught's a nasty habit".

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

They do tend to over-exaggerate with animatronic counts. I believe their marketing for Rise was even worse, counting all the figures in the stormtrooper room (having even less motion than the critters in TBA)

To be fair that's a pretty common trope in theme park rides. Current Imagination and MIB are the first two examples that come to mind, and there are probably more.

Well, they did  try to respond with an article of their own. https://screenrant.com/star-wars-galactic-starcruiser-hotel-what-everyone-gets-wrong/ The article tries to word it as an independent person, but stuff like this is a dead giveaway.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

I'd argue that actually makes the space afterwards feel  more empty. In Splash that whole first section was setting up the atmosphere, with the main "ride" not beginning until after the first drop. Now we have Tiana calling you to action on the lift, followed by the same nothingness that was...

Maintenance probably happens regardless of if something's bound to close or not. I know Splash continued to have various lights repaired up until its closing.

I'd guess the most likely solution (if any) for ferrying guests across Harbor would be to have moving walkways on the bridge sort of like Universal Orlando does. If I recall correctly that one crosses a road as well.

For what it's worth, in the app there's a much more palatable description for the ride: The "Slow, Dark, Loud" descriptors are also listed on the app, but under the "Thrill Type" description. No idea why it's not on the website but it can probably be chalked down to Disney's IT being...

Rumor Disney 100: Great Moments with Uncle Walt to Replace Mr. Lincoln

Maybe something like they did in the early 2000s? If they really are going with two separate shows, it feels like it would make more sense to have shows at two different times of day like the France show at Epcot, or when our Philharmagic does movie previews.

I mean I'd say that part of the description is just to let people know the type of ride it is to people who might have sensory issues. Not sure I'd describe it as loud, though. Isn't there a short summary of the ride below that? But I do agree that most modern rides do feel somewhat corporate.

They'd probably need the new EGW bus loops up before they tear up the old ones. My best guess is we won't see Avatar start construction for another few years.

Avengers Campus: E-Watch! (Waiting on the new ride)

I'm fairly sure IOA Spider-Man is well-loved among most fans, and that seems to be what this ride is most similar to (albeit from word of mouth here, trying to avoid spoilers). Even Transformers is far from hated compared to other Universal rides.

WDW Space Mountain is better than Disneyland's. Change my mind.

While I love the DL version (it's one of my favorite rides at the park) I just have to give the edge to WDW. Thrilling layout aside, the show scenes on the pre-lift/lift are much better with the light tunnel actually working and the main lift having physical props and figures. I do think DL...

New Tomorrowland @ Disneyland? Is this the year it finally gets announced? No, and that’s OK

The "history of cars" aspect does seem more World of Motion to me than anything else.

I believe DLH will still be outside the bubble so you'll only need to go through security when going back to DTD. Same as it currently is, just that it's a different security area from general DTD/park guests.
