News Disney introduces new Florida Resident Theme Park Select Pass and add-ons for other passes

I’m not reducing consumption, just bought an extra AP voucher to bank for later at the lower price in anticipation of the increase. Once you buy the voucher it’s good until like 2030.

News Disney Lakeshore Lodge (Project 89 - Development near Fort Wilderness)

Other surveys have used the name "Disney's Colors of Nature Resort" (gross). Seems we have that, Disney's Discovery Lodge, and Reflections: A Disney Lakeside Resort.

    AKL Pool Refurb

Per a new article on the site which shall not be named : "According to sources close to the matter, this pool will soon have a sand bottom, similar to that of Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts." There are pictures in the article as well..

    India Pavilion?

Seems unlikely but makes much more sense than a Brazil pavilion to me. Far more distinctive food, architecture, and culture.

New V.I. Passholder Events Include Some Free After Hours Access

Nice! Rare to see a freebie these days, especially one that has pretty significant value if it's comparable to the After Hours events. (*free after spending $600+ on the pass)

News Disney introduces new Florida Resident Theme Park Select Pass and add-ons for other passes

I feel this is bound to replace the Silver pass, which is too bad. With Galaxy's Edge is opening in "fall" 2019 they could eliminate it as soon as September/October. I might buy a Silver AP voucher and wait to activate it until next year just in case.

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

The parking lot is a common element and a portion of the dues go towards maintaining it. I'm assuming that's why it will be free for DVC members-- more of a requirement than a 'perk'. Now if a DVC member goes to another resort for a meal, etc, not sure if they'll have to pay since they're not...

News WDW Resorts to add fees for parking

All DVC members including dirty resale owners? Or is this another 'perk' of paying through the nose to buy direct from Disney

    Umm 21st Century Fox Purchase?

The deal would give Disney access to a large trove of new IP to use in its parks. "For Disney, the opportunity to take control of another movie studio and significant TV production assets as it readies a direct to consumer entertainment streaming offering is attractive as is Fox's significant...

    A Spirited Valentine ...

I'm curious to see how effective 'the bubble' will be. Based on some videos I have seen of ride testing, once you climb the stairs to board a ride the view will be of a bunch of... highways. I love climbing to the top of Summit Pummet and seeing green as far as you can see ;)

    A Spirited Valentine ...

From a pure business standpoint I think DVC is one of the best things Disney has ever done. Besides the outrageous profit on the initial sale of points, they continue to make money managing the property and increase economies of scale for their overall hotel operation. But most importantly it...
