    Best Time to Go.

We just returned yesterday. Was much more crowded than our last November trip in 2012. Christmas decorations were rather sparse; just gearing up in many resorts. The weather was terrific. Early to mid May is quite lovely too. So is early February crowd-wise, but nippier.;)

    Airlines....

IMHO book with the airline that offers the best deal. Lately for us it has been Southwest. USAirways is our predominant carrier by far. We have used both about equally.

Which terminal does American and SWA typically land?

Just arrived back home from WDW using SWA. They are definitely in terminal A.

Need advice- which building for old key west?

A reservation near the Hospitality is a guaranteed reservation. IMHO, it works well when traveling with toddlers or seniors. The rooms are handy to all major services. Peninsular Road is next closest.

    March please :)

We had great weather on our March trip but the evenings were chilly. We usually wore shorts during the day but if we left and returned in the evening, we changed to jeans with a light jacket.

    POLL: PLANES, TRAINS, or AUTOMOBILES?

We have flown to WDW for every visit but one when Amtrak ran a terrific 2-for-1 deal. We live in Southeast PA and flights to Orlando are plentiful. It is an easy 2 hour flight. We try to book around fare sales. Once we retire we do plan a road trip. I actually look forward to that...

    Late flight, what to do?

We were at WDW once in January and used Mears (before the ME service started). We had used them several times before with no issues. Pick-up time was 2 hours before flight time (this was also pre 9/11). I was traveling back home alone and I traveled back with no luggage; my family was...

Has anyone purchased the book Dining at Walt Disney World??

I have the book and it's helpful. There are chapters on how to make the hard-to-get reservations, the dining plan, rapid refill mugs, budgeting, etc. The chapters on the restaurants list what is offered and general price points. However, I find the Disney Food Blog to be tremendously helpful...

    Favorite Restaurant in WDW

We really enjoy Trail's End. Simple, relaxing, something to please everyone. We always have a great time there. Jiko is great too and so is Raglan Road. All are very different, but equally good.

    Which building at Saratoga springs?

The Springs would be my choice if you don't have a car. It makes it much easier to access services and the main pool. We also like Congress Park for the DTD proximity and views. But the walk to the lobby is not as convenient.

    Taxi

I have always noticed waiting cabs in the Epcot lot and I would bet that holds true for the other parks as well. There is also usually a cast member in the area who can assist you.

best area at okw for awesome view?

I think it would be buildings 46 and 45 in that order. It is bliss to sit on the porch with a view of the Trumbo Canal. Very relaxing. Buildings 32 and 34 are good choices for golf course and lake views.

    Beach Club Villas...:)

You will check in at the BC resort and the villas are in a separate building. The unit configurations are studio, one bedroom and 2 bedroom. We have never really lucked out on a good view -- I'm sure someone who has stayed there more often would know more about that. There are no separate...

    Sept or October

September for sure. It will still be hot, but the kids are back in school, so that translates to lower crowds. October is great too, but there's a lot going on --- Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Halloween Party, which are both highly popular. The park hours are shorter, but that's pretty...

Going in November - Have some questions

A taxi can be quite costly - around $80 or so the last time we went that route, and that was quite a while ago. And if you hit traffic? Yikes. DME is pretty efficient from our experience, but there are many variables - what time are you arriving, when are you visiting in November (around the...

Decisions Decisions!! Should we go in August or November??

November is lovely in many ways --- cooler, less crowded, holiday parties and decorations. I think it is tough to beat. However, the park hours are shorter and attractions may be closed for rehab, which is disappointing if you're not prepared for it. The last week of August is a better time...

    November help!

We will be there the same week! I think it is a great time to visit. It is a dream for those who wilt in hot weather and/or don't get a big kick standing in long lines. We were there in July and we had a wonderful time, but Disney in the slower seasons is perfection IMHO. :joyfull:

    Question about items in luggage.....

I agree with the PP's advice. Zip lock bags are a real lifesaver for liquid items. I always try to bring a supply with me.

What happens when DVC is sold out?

I can foresee other stand-alone DVC resorts as well. Disney certainly has the acreage!
