Rumor Spaceship Earth Redo Shelved Indefinitely

If I hear one more Hollywood type reverently describe themselves as Storytellers I will vomit. Everything nowadays is just a remake. Get out those Imaginations and come up with an original idea, or stop taking those undeservedly high salaries. the story of communication is not over. A hundred...

Who should be excluded to help with the overcrowding problem.

To ease overcrowding duplicate the parks elsewhere in the US, eg Midwest or Mid Atlantic. It might mean cannibalizing attendance from WDW, but might not if WDW is catering to international travelers. then again, more parks might equa more revenue.

Ever lost or found anything valuable?

That may be a corporate policy. My DH dropped his wallet on Long Island Railroa tracks. Staff recovered it, and policy required the cash to be removed, and they sent him a check.

Phone dropped in Seven Seas Lagoon retrieved and returned.

On my trip in 1997 my sunglasses fell out of my pocket on Space. City Hall told me to go to lost and found at the TTC the next day. When I did, the guy asked me for the date, attraction and type of item, then came out with a tray of sunglasses all found after they had closed Space the day...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

I speculate that Diamond Princess germs spread through the HVAC system. That’s much less of a concern at WDW, except for indoor attractions, eg HoP, Philharmagic. Even hotel rooms probably have fresh air sources, even if not individually for each room. Personally, I think Chicken Little stories...

Kosher food in the parks is horrible

It’s to prevent someone unknowledgeable from going in and messing up the system. In short, we are allowed to cook on holidays, as long as the stove and oven were turned on before the holiday started. On the Sabbath we eat food that was cooked ahead of time and is kept warm over a low flame or on...

Kosher food in the parks is horrible

We did! A “bad” day at Disney is still better than a good day anywhere else! My DH enjoyed seeing Patrick Mahomes in the parade. I got to go on all the new rides that opened since our last trip (except Frozen Ever After).

Long Line Memories and Line Etiquette, Your Worst Line Experiences

My worst line experience was a 2-1/2 hour wait for Jungle Cruise in August 1974. On our 2011 trip, we went to the standby line for TSMM, which was about an hour. Not knowing any better, I got on line while my husband headed to the restroom. When he came back to join me, everyone in line let him...

Kosher food in the parks is horrible

Absolutely! Anyone can eat kosher food! However, to maintain kosher certification, the kitchen would have to be closed and locked on Saturdays and Jewish holidays.

Kosher food in the parks is horrible

If the food is double-wrapped, it can be reheated in a non kosher oven. These meals had a plastic seal over the tray, and were then placed inside a plastic bag , that was then sealed.

Kosher food in the parks is horrible

Yes, if it is made under kosher supervision from a kosher animal or fish.

Kosher food in the parks is horrible

No. The food is brought in frozen from an outside vendor, then reheated for the consumer by Disney staff in the regular oven or microwave.
