News Pixar Place will transform into a Metroville city block at Disney's Hollywood Studios

It had the highest guest survey ratings of any ride at Walt Disney World from 2008 to 2017 and still remains high, so I’m inclined to think that most people would actually agree with me. It is an incredibly well-executed ride from start to end that nails its pacing and emotional beats in a way...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Well, I’m not the one arguing that there are much better ideas than Cars… which is a cute franchise that kids love, has proven successful in a park already, and involves exploration of the American west in the spirit of Frontierland. Maybe I’m not the best judge either, but I’m not doing such...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

The negative comments toward this here are bizarre and disappointing. People will likely love this and it’ll fit in the back of Frontierland quite well. Then again I shouldn’t exactly expect an online forum in 2024 to reflect the average park visitor.

Rumor D23 2024 WDW Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

They absolutely nailed this presentation in a way they hadn’t even come remotely close to doing in decades. Did they put someone new in charge of it? Did they learn all of the right lessons from their 2022 disaster? Hard to believe this is even the same company.

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I mean I think Pixar films should be counted just as equally, since there’s basically no difference to any kids out there, so the most recent before Frozen is Ratatouille (07), still a while ago.

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

Well to that point, it seems like Disney is aware that the last new animation franchise they have a ride for is Frozen from late 2013. 10+ years is probably the longest they’ve ever gone, despite having stopped building original rides and having a lot of strong animated hits since then. Moana is...

News 'Beyond Big Thunder Mountain' Blue Sky concept revealed for Magic Kingdom

I’m going to need you to get all the way off my back about rerouting this road!

News Test Track to be reimagined

But the difference is all of the movies that weren’t profitable last year are just clear misses. Encanto, Tron, And PatF will all have rides for three different reasons… none of which will ever apply to the movies released in 2023.

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

But this picture screams 80s office park. It’s tough to make a place with palm trees look like the opposite of a vacation. I’m not sure if stale is the right word but it wasn’t great.

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

The biggest real difference to me is that there were design changes across the entire front of the park, whereas what they actually did hardly extends beyond the center. There are still a lot of awkward empty and dated areas of overly wide pathways, pebble-filled geometric curbs, and empty...

News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

They released that art with the intention of getting people’s hopes up for something they never planned to do and then cut back on multiple times anyway. Even if the end result is good, their own antics are rightfully going to catch up to them.

Journey of Water featuring Moana coming to Epcot

Agree on it being great! While it’s not sitting on the same land as JoW, since the new center involved expanding shopping and dining to take over that whole building and moving entertainment elsewhere, I feel that it was essentially replaced. And a note to those saying it wasn’t really replaced...

    Zootopia Coming To Shanghai

Yeah you’re going to get flamed… what regional theme parks are you going to? This ride screams Disney in every way lol.

HKDL gets new castle, frozen land and marvel land.

Frozen Ever After is a surprisingly good ride, and I think a lot of people would consider it the best non-thrill ride created in the US parks in the last 15 years. When imagineering’s batting average isn’t exactly perfect, I think it makes a ton of sense to build on something that already works.

    RnRc Retheme?

Ah, Rocketeer is the fourth one I see mentioned here a lot! I didn’t remember it probably because I don’t know what that is.

    RnRc Retheme?

This board has three ideas… Muppets, Powerline, and Roger Rabbit. Hardly anyone, especially anyone under 30, has a lick of interest in any of those. The only reason Muppets might have happened is that the studio falls under Disney parks for some reason and someone there seems intent on making it...

Star Wars Land announced for Disney's Hollywood Studios

The whole criticism of Disney being too cheap to have roaming droids in Galaxy’s Edge is kind of ironic, because there will come a time when it becomes financially beneficial for Disney to replace some of their guest-facing staff with robots, and fans will be like “finally, they’re giving us the...

Show us your best AI created Disney photos!

To the haters, I leave this little nugget of Disney trivia. The AI that most of you are using to create these is named DALL-E, which is a combination of the artist Salvador Dali and the robot WALL-E! What better place is there for this?
