Attractions based on Saludos Amigos and The Three Caballeros

Sorry to be a newbie, but what is the Disney Dreamers Everywhere group? This photo is so cool. I see Aurora Miranda is there too.

Attractions based on Saludos Amigos and The Three Caballeros

What are people's favourite attractions based on these love letters to Latin America? Who likes the Gran Fiesta Tour (I have to say, I rather enjoyed this one back when I last visited in 2007)? Anyone met Donald at the Saludos Amigos Greeting Dock in Tokyo DisneySea? Who has been lucky...

    The Three Caballeros review

A Disney Tale: Join Donald Duck as he opens presents from his friends in South and Central America; reacquaints himself with Jose Carioca and meets Panchito Pistoles. As part of his experience, we also meet Pablo, the cold-blooded penguin; a Uruguayan boy and his winged-donkey, Burrito; Aurora...

    Saludos Amigos Review

I have seen Caballeros already and it is all over the place. That said, I'm rather fond of the Epcot ride :) Thanks for the video link, I'll be watching your back catalogue with interest.

    Saludos Amigos Review

A Disney Tale: Join the Disney animators on a tour of South America accompanied by Donald Duck and Goofy. Disney Hero: As this film is a 'package feature' made up of four segments, we have three 'heroes' featuring at different points. Firstly is Donald Duck who appears in both the first and...

    Odd film spin offs

I'm doing a Disney marathon at the moment and I'm doing internet/Youtube trawls for interesting titbits after watching each film. I'm up to Saludo Amigos at the moment and I've found it fascinating what odd little spin-offs there are from the early films. The Seven Dwarfs promoting war bonds...

    Why no Bambi?

I like this idea. You see, this is the sort of attraction I would have expected to have featured somewhere, somewhen in a Disney park. The whole 'going through the forest; through the seasons' thing seems perfect for a dark ride.

    Why no Bambi?

Ha! No, I didn't mean the parks would feature Man as such. When reading up on the film, I was surprised to find that Man is rated as one of Disney's greatest villains. This fact contributes to the strong legacy of the film which is almost entirely absent from the parks.

    Why no Bambi?

Well, indeed, but it just struck me as odd seeing as Snow White, Pinocchio and Dumbo all have presence in the parks and even the Three Cabelleros. With the obvious exceptions of the 'compilation' films the next animated feature to seem invisible at the parks is Lady and the Tramp, and even that...

    Why no Bambi?

True, but the question was more based on the fact that I've recently watched Bambi and done some internet research about its background and legacy. All the reviews will tell you what a masterpiece it is; the fact that 'Man' is one of the greatest Disney villains; that the death of Bambi's...

    Why no Bambi?

I don't like Bambi the film, but it's generally considered to be a great achievement for Disney. So why is Bambi conspicuous by his absence in the Disney theme parks. Aside from bits of topiary and the odd appearance in a fireworks show there is very little. Thumper gets some meet and greets...

    Bambi - a review

A Disney Tale: A deer, Bambi, is born in the forest, the heir to the Prince of the Forest. He meets a rabbit, Thumper, and a skunk called Flower and they live through the seasons of the forest learning about life and love until Bambi becomes the Prince himself, protector of the forest. Disney...

    Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln

I didn't know WDW had a version, or do you mean The Hall of Presidents? That's one of the few attractions my wife and I didn't bother with on our trip to Florida 8 years ago (the other was Peter Pan but that was more to do with the insane queues).

    Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln

Wow. Thanks for all the replies. Disneyland is on our family's bucket list. We did Paris for the first time with our kids last year (the second visit for my wife and I. My wife and I did Florida before the kids came into the world and we plan to visit again sometime in the next few years...

    Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln

So, what's the deal with this attraction. I've watched a few Youtube videos. The animatronics are amazing but is this something a Brit would be able to appreciate. It seems to be steeped in a level of patriotism we don't tend to 'do' over here :) What are people's thoughts about it? Is it...

    Town Square, Main Street USA

What's your favourite part of Town Square? Are there any attractions in the other parks (like Great Moments with Abraham Lincoln) you'd like to see come across to other Town Squares? Who has visited Walt's apartment? I'm fond of the gazebo in the centre of Town Square at Disneyland Paris. It...

    Main Street USA Trolley Show

Anyone a fan of this little musical extravaganza? What's your favourite version? Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter? What do you think about Disney using non-Disney songs in it? Is it too cheesy for its own good? :p

    Christmas at Disney

We went to Disney World for Christmas in 2007 and were surprised to discover it is one of their busiest days. We had assumed most Americans would be at home celebrating the season with their families. We still had a great time but the Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day is a happy sort of chaos...

    Liberty and Discovery Arcades

I think Liberty has the better design as well. Discovery always seems a little more ordinary.
