But within the thread there’s evidence that the statement is true. Verified. And even without having hard numbers, Disney has numbers that presumably inform their actions. So throughout the thread that statement has been pretty much proven. DAS parties ARE slowing everything down

Yeah. Think of it like if the ride was down and the queue got dumped. All those people would be given an any time fast pass and Disney would know that they will come back that day but not when.

No you can only carry one at a time. But you aren’t obligated to come back right at the end of the window. Often times disabilities don’t work with stringent schedules, so i assume that’s why

DAS users can return at ANY time after the return time, before park close. Not an hour window. So i could get a return time for 10:13 am and then show up at 8:37 pm and use it

I mean, asking for a recap would have been more productive than making a comment without seemingly being aware what has been and is being discussed. Or even seemingly reading the updated policy before commenting.

I think it’s more likely that the people who no longer qualify for DAS will be accommodated in other ways that will allow them to keep going. Maybe not DAS, but I’m optimistic Disney has a plan/process flow

Right. That’s been my point from the beginning. We won’t know exactly how this works until people start using it and reporting back

I think the information we need more than that is what the other accommodations will be and how they will work, lol But you’re right we won’t likely get that from the company

It’s not useless. Even if it goes nowhere it’s making thousands of people feel like their frustration is heard. There’s value in that.

No they’re saying when they’re in the DAS VQ for a longer wait ride, they can do on a shorter wait standby and effectively be in line for two rides at the same time

I don’t think they’d really need the rooms. Much cheaper to put touch points (for everyone) at the start of each queue and touch points (for DAS only) at the end of each ride. They already have the technology and the guest behavior. DAS can’t book the next ride until they tap out of the current...
