And the second cars ride. And the Monsters show if that counts

My "Hollywood Studios" to "Hollywood Adventure" Transformation

Hey everyone! New to this subforum so let me know if I'm doing this wrong. This is my take on a "transformation" of Disney's Hollywood Studios. It is an attempt at something at least "somewhat" realistic based off of current plans but obviously with some exaggeration I'm sure. Please note that...

Rumor Lion King Flume Ride being considered for Animal Kingdom

What qualifies as a 9 or 10 for you? Everything is subjective of course but I just find this to be a bit wild so I'm curious what does pass the test for you.

But at least we have Gertie! (cries internally)

Rumor Lion King Flume Ride being considered for Animal Kingdom

Sorry if you have answered this before, but does the company actually still use the "E-Ticket" rating system or something similar? Always assumed that was just a fan thing.

Move the Cars stuff there and call it World Tire for realsies?

Rumor Lion King Flume Ride being considered for Animal Kingdom

I was about to say the concept art looked far more grand than Echo Lake. I actually love the design and what they are doing on that.

I also wonder if now any new Coco attraction is more likely to be a future expansion at Tropical Americas than at Mexico Pavilion or at MK as was rumored.

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

This is exactly why I keep harping on the flume coming to AK… it fits perfectly and addresses a BUNCH of needs.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

From Google Earth, a conservative estimate of the "space" for the cars area is 4.5 acres. This rides track seems to utilize most of that space with the walkways, load building, and small ride all housed "within" that layout. The entire area for RSR, including the show building, line, and...

The length looks decent to me. It goes in the back part of the land as well and you can't really see a good amount of it in the art.

Rumor Lion King Flume Ride being considered for Animal Kingdom

I don't want it cloned because I think DLP gets better investments, I'm just selfish and I think this ride would be prefect at AK 😂 I get wanting a unique attraction though.

Rumor Lion King Flume Ride being considered for Animal Kingdom

All I'm really thinking is new facades for Frozen theater, Mermaid theater, and Disney Junior, along with some basic beautification of the hub area (yes no hats please). And maybe some minor adjustments to how it connects to Echo Lake. Just something to move away from the giant studio "boxes"...

Nintendo partnering with Universal to make attractions.

Has there been any indication as to what Luigi's Mansion would be? Just a traditional Dark Ride?

Yeah, it's a minor note at best. Not a big difference either way.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Oh yeah I cited California Adventure moreso as a sign that a lot Disney's "second gates" DCA and DAW have more "loose" theming that leads into IP worlds. DHS seems to be WDW's version. Not as a "California Adventure' is great theming haha. I agree overall, but I'd rather there be at least some...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

I think it works well enough if it is "Hollywood/movies" as a portal into the movie worlds. But that would require some retheming of entrances, etc. Works as well as "California Adventure" or most of the other IP centered parks around today.

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

I think I can agree with a "next gen" Magic Kingdom... which to be honest, I'm also okay with. I think making Disneyland the "classics" park, and MK start having it's own identity might be good for both. Totally agree on DHS. I think they should do a hub retheming (like World Premiere Plaza at...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

To me, Epcot still feels like Epcot, AK feels like AK, and MK feels like MK, and none of this really changes it much. Epcot's Future World was just very disappointing with budget cuts, but not drastically altering it's identity. MK has one area that will feel very different, but it is still...
