November starts Florida hoodie season :)

Annual Passholder RFID begin processing 3/20

I stand corrected. Disney is now stating that the bands can be re-used. In some early statements, Disney stated they were to be single-use. The truth behind the matter though, those bands do not have an infinite life-span. The chips inside will eventually die out and Disney is well aware of...

    Grill Broken at BoG (2/26/2013)?

She must have spent a lot of time on the computer or on the phone waiting for reservations. Plus it is not uncommon for people at Disney to make a reservation at the same restaurant two days in a row, not knowing how their travel plans will unfold once at Disney. I've eaten at BOG multiple times...

    Grill Broken at BoG (2/26/2013)?

Hey guess what? EVERYTHING IS FIXED AT BE OUR GUEST. SO LET'S END THIS THREAD AND START TALKING ABOUT THE NEW BATHROOMS IN FANTASYLAND! BECAUSE WHO DOESN'T LIKE TALKING ABOUT THEMED TOILETS? :D

    Grill Broken at BoG (2/26/2013)?

PS: It wasn't the actual grill itself that broke. It was something a little more serious that almost shutdown the entire restaurant last night. If you have ever worked in a restaurant, you would know that there is a very important safety feature that every grill needs to operate...

    Grill Broken at BoG (2/26/2013)?

It's standard Disney procedure for management to inform guests if their meal could be effected by any type of issue in the kitchen. This is actually not the first time it's happened at BOG. And it doesn't matter what restaurant you are at, if you have an issue with your food, you inform the...

    Grill Broken at BoG (2/26/2013)?

If there was some sort of issue in the kitchen, the management would have informed every single table in the restaurant and worked to accomodate them for any inconvenience with their order. I just don't see how somebody has any grounds to complain about something like this because if they were...

    Can I add guests?

So, I read through all of the posts and not a single person asked the most important question of where the dining reservation was at? The time of year makes a big difference and so does the restaurant. Usually, slower or less popular restaurant can accomadate. However, keep in mind some...

    Grill Broken at BoG (2/26/2013)?

There was some sort of mechanical failure during dinner service in the kitchen. Unfortunately, things like this do happen at any restaurant and there are going to be a few orders that might not come out exactly like they are supposed to while the equipment is being repaired, which it was fixed...

MyMagic+ RFID ticket media to become available this week

Turnstiles won't be a problem once all the tickets are converted to RFID. This is a transition period, so there is going to be some backups and a few delays here and there while Disney works everything out.

MyMagic+ RFID ticket media to become available this week

Just talk to Guest Relations. Your tickets are probably going to be just fine. Remember, this is leading to an "eventual" phase out of the old tickets, it's gonna take a long time.

MyMagic+ RFID ticket media to become available this week

One thing that really bothers me about Annual Passholders is the notion that you feel as though you are entitled to so much more from Disney just because of the ticket you bought. You have a discounted theme park ticket, and that's how Disney looks at it. You are not a VIP because you own an...

    Wonders of Life photo post

It was YOUR CHOICE to dine there. If you didn't want the healthier fresh cooked food, then Cosmic Ray's is glad to serve you your hamburgers, hot-dogs and chicken nuggets. There is simply no argument to this, it's your choice what to eat and where to dine.

    Mine Ride Construction Update

I completely agree with everything you've said. There should have been at least one new dark ride in either the Enchanted Forest or Storybook Circus. The problem with Disney World is that executives are forgetting that the four parks are still THEME PARKS. People expect rides. Meet and greets...

Disney World Explorer banned for LIFE

I find this a little hard to believe, the wine and beer list is presented to every single table after the host seats you and hands out the regular menus. For your waitress to say they didn't have alcohol doesn't make any sense, because that's money the server is losing in sales/tips. So...

NextGen / FP+ / Magic Band. The official truth starts to appear

It's not a fingerprint. Disney doesn't have records of people's fingers, otherwise I'm sure a lot of people with warrants would have been arrested just for walking into a theme park.

NextGen / FP+ / Magic Band. The official truth starts to appear

It's not a fingerprint, it's a bio-metric scan. There IS a difference. A fingerprint is an exact visual representation of a specific finger. A bio-metric scan is a measurement of specific points on the finger.

NextGen / FP+ / Magic Band. The official truth starts to appear

You shouldn't judge an entire process based off an isolated incident you experienced. It doesn't matter if it's Disney World or your own place of work, things go wrong. We do not live in a perfect world. What matters is that they fixed the issue and then they probably compensated you with a...

NextGen / FP+ / Magic Band. The official truth starts to appear

There are multiple outcomes of NextGen, but most of the guests won't see it because it will be internal information. The whole semi-all-inclusive bracelet is just the marketing gimmick and face that Disney is putting to the project. NextGen from a business standpoint is an information driven...
